Kap these guys are proffesionals. If they are healthy enough to play then they are going to play. Who are you to tell them they can't.
Kapp they won't win, the script from Halas Hall has been compete the first half, lose the second. The script is not gonna change and this is why I say if I play Fields, he only plays first half.

Thank you Coach i remember in the 97-98 stretch we were bad like 4 wins each season, and very easily could of tanked for Peyton Manning or Woodson or Tony Gonzalas, Randy Moss but we didn't and to me that is the way to play the game and set the right winning attitude in that locker room. I would of probably forgot about tanking for Manning real quick though lol but the players want to win and dont look at it the same way fans do.
In the NFL if you can go, you go. You don't wrap yourself in a bubblewrap and take a vacation with games on the schedule
I'm sick of prioritizing defensive guys. We need a 10-year left tackle who we know will be a solid rock at that position. The modern NFL requires a supercharged offense. We've been so defense focused for so long, and that doesn't get it done. We had Khalil Mack, we had Robert Quinn set a sack record. That wasn't the answer.
I think they want Fields to get as much experience playing against playoff and playoff caliber teams. That is the only reason why I can think they are playing him.
We are all excited about Fields but to think he should just sit and not get snaps is wild. He has a lot to work on still

I think Kap is getting worse with age. Justin fields hasn’t accomplished anything or even has excelled. He’s at the bottom of the league in stats and record for starting QBs but let’s rest him like he’s Mahomes. Another idiotic comment, and he seems to make more of them now a days
Colts trade and throw in Quentin Nelson and/or DeForest Buckner plus some extra picks makes alot of sense.

Eberflus is constantly building mindset as well. And he should. It SHOWS every week in the play. We have had to nearly assemble entire new secondaries & offensive line with subs as far back as other teams practice squads. He has quite a few criteria in mind. Kaplan, who I do like, is out of his mind. He has become more of a sensationalist in recent times & often seems to think he has a better assessment than the top day-to-day coaches. I am certain that if Justin arrived at game day unhealthy, Eberflus, et al, would take them out of the lineup. Period. And–while I would love to have a higher pick as well, "You play to win the game…" We STILL will be in great shape & the greater good is served by playing to win, every game, all the time. Wannstedt, as usual, a voice of reason.

FLUSS HAS TALKED ABOUT HITS, HITS, AND HITS FOR 10 MONTHS. AS WE HAVE SEEN, HITS HAS NOT HELPED MUCH WITH A 3-13 RECORD. HITS IS GIMMICKY WITHOUT SOLID FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS. BEAR DEFENDERS FOR 10 MONTHS HAVE DEMONSTRATED LACK OF GAP INTEGRITY & MAINTENANCE, OUT OF POSITION, CAN'T TACKLE WELL, WHIFF ON OPEN FIELD TACKLES, PIs, HOLDING, OFF SIDES, LACK OF SITUATIONAL COMMUNICATION B/W DEFENDERS. SAME SHITTY MISTAKES FOR MONTHS. ALL WE HEAR IS "WE'RE GETTING BETTER" FROM FLUSS. "WE HAD A GOOD WEEK OF PRACTICE", ETC. HOW DO YOU GET BETTER WITH THE SAME MISTAKES FOR 10 MONTHS??? His protection is not as stable as it should be and therefore any injury he is carrying could be exacerbated. Two games left…allow the back-up team members across the squad to step up, have their fifteen minutes of fame and play out the season.

Fields wants to play, you should never hold back a competitor like him. Coddling him is pointless. He is still learning and improving.
