The Toronto Raptors clearly have some issues with their team that they need to work out and yesterday’s bad loss to the Los Angeles Clippers really highlighted that. Despite the recent two impressive wins against the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Raptors have lost 7 of their last 9 and now sit at 15-19 on the season with two more tough games coming up to end 2022. There are three huge issues with this team that have been prominent over the last month of basketball and especially were fully showcased yesterday by a talented Clippers team in Kawhi Leonard and Norman Powell’s return to Toronto.
The front office has a ton of work to do if they want this team to be competitive this season as and as we get closer to the one-month countdown toward the NBA trade deadline, some action needs to happen sooner rather than later for Masai Ujiri. The big question will become however if the Raptors front office SHOULD intervene or let the season play out with some draft picks opportunities.

Center is major problem they don’t have one Khem Birch aka Aaron Baynes is 💩😂😂😂
Early
They’re not going to make any trades. They’ll just announce that “Precious and Otto Porter are our trade deadline acquisitions”
there is only one major problem that is destroying the raptors.. and that is Fred Van Vleet
At the end of the day Masai actually has to do his job. We've had the same shooting, point guard, and rim protection problems for the last 3 years, yet he does nothing.
when is precious coming back

I have face reality and being 100% honest with myself we are not going to make the playoffs and we might as well trade our top players while they’re at their peak value in return for assets and develop Scotty Barnes into a solid number one option
They are actually really good. They could have beat the best team in NBA (Clippers ) had there been a better defender on Reggie Jackson, say Malachi or someone to complete the 6'7 plus line up they should win. Unfortunately Hernangomez and Fred shot bad from 3. Fred cannot help a line up that depends on miss matches no matter how much he scores. This raptors team is close to being really good
Trade Fred to Spurs for Poeltl and McDermott solves both problems rim protection and 3 point shooting.
You need to get whatever you can for Fred to build for the future. I also would hate to see this because he's an awesome player, but at 28/29 and playing like he is, is this the absolute peak of Siakam's career? By the time this team is ready to contend again, Pascal might be 33 years old. Is the time now to flip him for a gigantic return while his value is at an all time high?
The young core outside of Pascal have generally all regressed instead of growing and improving. Meanwhile, lots of teams have actually become stronger this past year.
And Masai has not provided any cure for the perennial 3-point-shooting or rim-protection disease this team has.
Is Masai even doing his job?
And we also now have a problem moving the ball around consistently.
These Raptors need more tough defence, better playing, and some three point snipers.
That third quarter on coaching bro
The problem is defense. We need Precious and Otta back. The team can't get away with injured players due to back of depth. Delano and Justin have to step up by providing good +/- mintues. I don't see a good trade package out there to help without putting a dent in the bench.
otto porter & juacho & dowti horrible signing. We should of kept yuta instead, trade garry for a center before we lose him for nothing.
