Thanks, Kane, for your analysis of the data and observations. I do think that the Bucks may make a trade for a wing defender before the trade deadline. It is obvious what improvements are needed.

We already knew we needed Kris to beat the top 3-4 seeds in a playoff series. This losing stretch has taught us nothing but maybe that we need to make a trade for the playoffs. Maybe John Horst will make a trade to improve the team so we can withstand the loss of anyone besides Giannis.
As a buck fan and greek I would like to see the two brothers to play on the same time. Giannis to be in lower place for shooting and Thanasis to do only defense and rebounds.
Suddenly, it occured to me:
Coach Bud's strategy is to make the team appear weak. Everybody is asked to play down and slow and brick away! Our real force is kept hidden in the lab and will only come out come May, so all opponents shall be left speachless and exposed.
Why show them what we can do so early on?
Yep, now it all makes sense and life is good.
Giannis needs a better cast, only two others that I want on this team is Lopez and holiday everyone else can be traded
The bucks are obviously capable of being right there with the top teams in the league at the end of the season (especially once khris gets his legs back under him). It’s just been frustrating to watch how often this team hurts themselves with bad coverages, communication, and decisions in general. Coach Bud was a toe nail away from one of the most embarrassing 3 year playoff stretches in nba history, getting fired and never seeing another coaching job in his career. I’ve seen him actively hurt this team with his decision making many times over in similar ways. And when you listen to him speak he sounds genuinely unintelligent, apathetic, daft etc. And that’s not to say he’s the one of worst coaches in the league, but I can’t be convinced that he’s the coach for Giannis’s prime. The good news is that as long as you have a Giannis you always have a chance.
You don't necessarily need Kris Middleton, BUT you need SOMEONE that can score consistently it CRAZY how much the scoring drop-off Jrue,GREYSON Bobby BRook scoring seems to drop off the map if you had someone that can score at least 15 pts a game they might of beat BOSTON last year and on Christmas.
It's not the 22% from midrange that is concerning; it's his widely inconsistent shot.
He might swish one, but then he might airball the next one. That just means he doesn't know how to shoot yet.
Giannis needs to move around and closer to the paint. And also need to work on protecting the ball.
The Bucks will probably not make any trade because they don't have much. But I'd like to see them trading Grayson Allen for Alex Caruso.
Caruso knows his role and knows how to play winning basketball. He'll be like PJ Tucker and can Jrue and Middleton a break from guarding tough wing players.
This is still pretty comfortably the best roster Giannis has ever had

The Bucks still don't understand the Celtics offense; they drive and kick out for open 3's. Grant Williams loves playing against the Bucks because he gets many open 3's.

Sorry mate. You're absolutely oblivious of basketball if you think it's a roster problem. It's just 10000% a coaching staff problem. Take golden state roster player per player and tell me how they've got better players? Jeez they took our trash in donte and made a rotation player of him in a championship roster. I just don't get how you fail to talk about the absolute disaster of coaching
Plenty of basketball to play.
We're just not playing on the same level as Boston, Nets or the Sixers. Our main issue is coaching. Our offense has little to no ball movement when Giannis is on the floor. There is no effort to get others involved. Bud struggles with adjustments on the fly. Our plan A, B, C -Z is give Giannis the ball. Bud doesn't motivate this team, is being out coached by first season coaches. We look so old and slow against teams like Boston and Brooklyn. From the eye test, we look bad against title contenders.
