That said, I’m sick of the Wiseman hate. There were a couple of 9000IQ hot-take edge lords sitting behind us at the Hornets game the other day, mainly complaining about the crowd (which was fine for a regular season game with a lead most of the game) and ragging on Wiseman. When Wiseman got in, I started cheering extra loudly for him because if those knuckleheads. Like, of course Wiseman still needs to develop both individually and with the team. I’m not saying that he’s the next Wilt, and I enjoy listening to well informed opinions about his progress and fit. But, he’s on our team and getting playing time is what he needs and I’m going to fucking cheer him on when he gets on the floor. I’m not going to sit there with an overinflated, snide opinion stuck up my ass. If you want to rag on our own players, stay at home and complain all you want. I’m there to see a game and cheer on my team. If there was anything “meh” about the crowd, it was those guys.
