The Denver Nuggets continued their dominant run this season, overcoming a 9 point deficit in the 4th quarter against the Miami Heat to secure the clutch home victory. At 23 and 12 they’re tied for 1st in the West, and have a dominant 13 and 3 record at home. Jokic continued to bolster his MVP case with 19 points, 12 boards & 12 assists on 53% shooting. But while the Joker continued to dominate it was a total team effort with 8 guys scoring in double figures in the victory. That well balanced attack is what ultimately makes the Nuggets a legit contender. The Nuggets have been one of the best offensive teams in the NBA this team this season, ranking number 2 in offensive rating on the year behind the brooklyn Nets. . And the Nuggets defense which was a big issue earlier in the year, has been very impressive recently, ranking number 9 in defensive rating over the last 10 games. This Nuggets squad has a legit shot at making the finals in my opinion and in one of my most recent polls, the majority of you guys voted the Nuggets as your choice to make it out of the West. In this video, we’re gonna go more into detail on how the Nuggets are breaking the NBA and why they’re a legit contender. Like the video and subscribe for more dope content like this.

  1. I don't agree that Denver needs another elite offensive player to go deep in the playoffs. Their offense is elite already. They need defense. Denver's personnel also already has the defensive skill set to be a lot better than they're currently showing out. The players need the commitment, drive, and desire to show out on defense and a better coaching scheme to hide Jokic's defensive weaknesses. When Denver lost Wes Unseld, Jr., to Cleveland, they lost their only coach who was able to successfully construct Denver's defense around its personnel. Ryan Saunders is falling woefully short, in my opinion.

  2. MPJ is still a terrible defender. He is putting in a lot more effort, I'll give you that, but I'm not sure he's going to be on the floor at the end of important games despite his amazing off-ball offence.

  3. I v been suspicious last few years cause of many reasons. Young team injuries. This year Nuggets by me could go till the end..They are now on level to win NBA..

  4. Based on all around consistency, I think the nuggets big three are jokic air gordon and KCP.

  5. What's crazy is that MPJ isn't even their 3rd best player…. Aaron Gordon is. MPJ's elite shooting is just gravy.

  6. You exactly did what you said you would, 12k before 2023. Congrats man, this year lets make it to 100k

  7. MPJ a good dribble drive guy? You might want to watch more Nuggs games bro. 90% of the time he gets cookies took if he tries that. Spot up shooter, catch and shoot elite just cant drive, yet.

  8. As long as their D continues to improve, yes they should be the favorite. The Nuggs offense is incredible with a nice variety of different threats from anywhere on the court…which Jokic already does every game. I hope Bones and Murray become a bit more consistent on offense and the bench improves as well. I'd like to see Braun get more minutes as well as he is a hustler.

  9. here is why nuggets are not a legit contender in reality… let's say they get to the finals, and they're up against philly, or boston, or brooklyn or milwaukee… there is zero chance in hell those teams (especially boston) don't get the whistles in their favor… they're going to hack jokic like crazy and get 1 out of 5 fouls called and brown and tatum (especially) will be shooting over 20 free throws a game just the 2 of them
