Trade Trae!!! We can’t just keep changing Coaches!!! Trae is a diva!! We traded red velvet , and he is balling!!! That was a very bad decision!!! Hunter is not the guy. Keep Murray, AJ Griffith and Onyeka. It’s time to blow up this team. Trae is not the guy. Admit it Luka trade, Atlanta lost to Dallas period!!!!
What up my man I can answer that question for you. It's John Collins and probably a few players who isn't showing any passion. I said this a while back that the frontcourt is week whereas simultaneously, we need a PF who can rebound and bang and a starting and back up center. I still think we need to trade John Collins Bogey Hoilday to the Pacers for Myles Turner Buddy Hield and Tj McConnell because if Indiana wants Collins make the trade and I'm sure Landry Fields is going to make some trades we just have to wait and see. Did this I would slid Hunter the PF position have Buddy Heild playing SF Myles Turner in the middle with Trea and Murray in the backcourt with a starting 5 like that who can you guard what do you think?
Trae needs to recognize he is no Kobe. He isn’t even Jordan pool. Put your head down and hoop you bum stop all your big baby cry fest. It’s making me hate him.
Could you imagine every 3 years this happens they replace the coach mid season they go to the ECF then do bad after and wined up in the same situation they are now.
Maybe Trae is not really buying in to the development part of the process. It’s good he wants to win, but he may be going about it the wrong way. He needs to be more patient and allow his game to develop to its full potential. He should be shooting near 50% from three. He should be unstoppable from midrange. He can be so much better than he’s been since coming into the league. This is still a young team. Player development should be a priority. From what I’ve read, Nate has no interest in developing players.
You guys are WILD Nate was an assistant for a reason, Nate underperformed like this his WHOLE career in Indy. You have no idea how the NBA works if you even think about trading Trae 😂
I agree that it’s been very frustrating. I still think the biggest issue is with coaching staff. Nate is not a winning mindset coach. He’s talking about retiring. No coaches with their eyes on championship considers retiring, even if this is after the season. Trae’s stats are coming back. I still don’t think Trae’s the reason. I still think we have good players, but the plays don’t accommodate the players’ strength and doesn’t adapt to opponents’ plays.
I think the hawks organization should provide more clarity to its fans. It starts from ownership. They said they weren’t afraid of luxury tax, but they traded Huerter to shave salary. They still dangling Collins for years, without any clarity on what they want back. It sounds more and more like it’s salary dump move. They said they will work on Trae playing off ball, but I don’t see any plays that sets enough screens for Trae. How do you hire Kyle Korver to help with shooting, but the FG and 3 percentages are worse? Travis has done a great job until now, then all of sudden he steps down? Travis was good at trading assets, then it just stopped. Why? Then he suddenly steps down? Sus…. When teams are losing there is always drama. Once we start winning, these will all go away. See Nets, Knicks, Pels, etc. Nate running same exposed plays and not adding younger players (with talent) also keep plays predictable. We need to shake things up. It should start with clear goal from the ownership and new coaching team. We are still a young team. Blowing up team can happen if other changes don’t pan out.
Same thing I was thinking.. Im expecting an alert in the coming days or weeks about Nate resigning.
DOES TRAE WANT TO BE HERE, that is the question!!!!???? If he doesn’t , then rebuild your team through trading him. Schlenk the architect of this team is basically going to be gone. I really don’t feel like Trae wants to stick it out.
