Tbf Luka is putting up good enough stats on good enough efficiency while dragging a bad team that he’s also a deserving candidate. KD as well with all the drama surrounding the team, 29 on 68% TS with elite defense on the second best team in the league.

I know MVP is a regular season award but 3 time consecutive MVP that hasn’t made it to the finals in either of those 3 years just seems weird.

It’s an interesting situation where 99% of league social media and announcers and talking heads are talking about voter fatigue as *the* reason for Jokic not getting a 3rd, but those who actually have a vote have to come up with something else or they should (rightfully) not be taken seriously and even their vote taken away.
When the ones that explain their MVP vote write their articles, they’ll have to actually say why wasn’t (or why was) Jokic picked 1st on their ballot. I wonder what they’ll say, and how much they’ll mention it being his potential 3rd in row.
