Nick Nurse sounds like a defeated man in his postgame interview and I suspect he has lost the room. The fundamental mistakes on the court this year are unacceptable. I was so looking forward to this year and I was not expecting this total collapse.

Yes we win but nobody can be happy with the defending you see on the floor none of the Phenix Sun shot was contested all the shots they took was wide open wide are our defenders so far off the offensive guy. The only person I saw close in on their man was Scottie Barnes buy then he stop and leave the guy to go to the corner wide open. Our defence is very bad not impressed

One of the reasons i love watching your vids is talking about fundamentals. When Isee a team trying to set a screen I stay yelling at my tv how to blow it up just by angling their body a certain way so it forces the ball handler to make the decision that you want them to make and force them into the help defense.. But of course they do the opposite 🤣. But yes shoulder to shoulder screen and the ball handler uses the off hand lock behind the screeners body when they pass.. If the defender reaches through they get called for a foul almost every time! It's textbook.

I knew they gonna win this game end off 2022. We just need all healthy though. It was a great tonight better than against the Grizzlies. Yes it was very painful to watched our Raptors struggling but they needed us win or lose they got my back… been saying this b4 Raptors start slow beginning of the season but I believed them they will find their way half of the season..
At the end of the day, it's just sports. Most people need to touch grass and calm their shit. I got other hobbies, win or lose.

For me and a lot of other long-time Raptors fans, we were sold on the dream that this team would be great this year. That Masai had acquired a few key pieces (diamonds in the rough) in players and coaching staff that would improve this team. Media had fooled us into thinking that our current players had put in the work together in the off season, and that many players had levelled up their game. Frankly, I was expecting us to be playing like the Celtics this season. Sure no dominant big man, but I thought with all that continuity we would be playing fundamentally sound basketball, excellent defence, with a bunch of consistent 3pt shooters that could be counted on, while PS, Scottie, OG and Precious were dominating in the paint. We are pretty much the opposite of all of that so far. At this point, I have little confidence that this roster can turn our season around, so I would like to see a shake up at the trade deadline. I do appreciate you trying to keep it positive though. Keep up the good work man. 👍

@chev, I've seen/been here since 1k subs, and I always appreciate your honesty. I feel we need a veteran center, and we need a bigger pg. If we could pick up a guy like Jordan Clarkson at the deadline and maybe experiment with Dalano, Jeff Dowtin Jr, and/or Malachi, I think that would be enough with our core…
