Colts need QB and Oline
I think we need to move up to that 2 spot. The Bears will trade that pick and the top two qbs will be off the board. I dont trust Ballard to pull the trigger on a project qb, we could end up going through this again next year.

Colts HAVE to find a QB in this next draft and must choose between Will Levis, CJ Stroud, Bryce Young, Tanner McKee, Aiden McConnell, Spencer Rattler, Bo Nix, Jaren Hall, Sam Hartman, Anthony Richardson or Devin Leary….. They have to choose one of these guys to lead the Colts because even if Aaron Rodgers wants to play for the Colts, Im not sure Irsay would agree. We have to find our next QB and then plug the other holes. While I might go with Rodgers to groom a guy for a year or two, I’m not sure Irsay has the patience for that so who would YOU choose?
I really like the idea of the Colts trying to get Jordan Love from Green Bay if that's the direction they go. I think all of the QBs in this draft are developmental types for the NFL. Although Love hasn't played much at all, he has been developing and seeing the speed of the NFLand would be more of getting him acclimated to Colts scheme and not developing into an NFL quarterback. Like you said the other day, don't give away the 1st round pick this year for him, but maybe a 2nd, 4th this year and 2nd next year for Jordan Love. Then they can go after a playmaker on the outside in the draft.

Colts need to draft a QB, WR, OL and Pass rusher. Get Baker, Derek, Geno, or Russ who all might be free agents to supplement with a young QB not named Ehlinger. Then get a real coach such as Payton or young coordinator ready to take a jump. Bring back Fangio as DC. There is talent on this team for a quick turnaround.
I am not confident that having the 5th pick gets us a winning QB long term. Those in the draft are crap shoots at best. I imagine one will be quality but trusting Ballard in getting the RIGHT one with the #5 pick seems highly unlikely.

Anthony Leal sounds like a great person anyone would want in their family, but I worry about his sister. Piling up debt, not knowing how much, and having it paid off for her doesn't bode well for her future financial discipline. How did the same parents raise both of them? She better marry a rich guy.

I am watching if Chicago gets that first pick. Because they would be willing to trade down a couple spots with colts. They have players bears might want. If we stay at 4 or 5 I don’t think we will need to trade up though.

Stroud has Really good accuracy possibly the best in the draft and he has good QB size. Stroud is the safe pick. Young is extremely quick at moving through the pocket and escaping and he has really good accuracy as well but his size is small for QB. With the way the O line for the colts has played I’d say Young is a better choice since he’s quicker than anyone on the colts roster . We can’t lose on getting either guy besides you might see Stroud get sacked more with colts line. If you can protect Stroud though he’s big enough and throws absolute darts to his targets! He can’t escape like Young at all. Young is like Lamar Jackson when he takes off. Then Levis is a beast at running with the ball and will hurdle a defender even. He can launch the ball but you get a QB that will be running like a wild man and launching passes. I think he’s solid and he could be the real deal but I also think he is the one that could be the bust. He could get hurt the way he runs and he throws interceptions at the college level because he’s a bit wild. Stroud you know is pocket passer and accurate so block for him and get him his Marvin harrison jr! Young will make his career off of pass first but great scrambler. Levis is complete wild card risk reward guy. Imo we have to be able to select the 2nd QB in this draft which will most likely be CJ Stroud with Bryce Young being selected first overall. Don’t settle for Levis just trade back if we get stuck there.

We could get lucky and slide to #3, but I don't see the Cards winning another game either. Do Texans take a QB? I hope not, but probably. Seahawks have the Broncos pick… do they take a QB?
