It’s actually down to coaching, instead of Nash letting them go full ISO gang there is a thought out method of play, it’s why every nba champ always has had a great coach!
Durant was also shitty about his 2K rating this year lol. He has had SEVERAL reasons to have motivation for this season. The media on his back, the Golden State stuff, he should NEVER followed Kyrie to BK, Ben Simmons hate, trade rumors. I can honestly say, if he wins MVP is one thing, but if he wins a title under all this scrutiny. He will be the most respected player left playing even if LeBron don't retire.

Kudos to Coach Vaughn. He said, rebounding and fouling was what they were lacking. Not, that the players have lock in on helping Claxton on the boards, and cut back on the fouling. The Nets have been rolling. The Celtics sweep the Nets last year, because KD was being doubled and tripled when he turned. KD was not reading the defense and allowing/trusting others as Vaughn has him doing this year. Vaughn is challenging Claxton. However, in a 7 game series, Claxton is not big enough to compete with true bigs. This will cause KD and Kyrie to work harder. Causing them to lose their legs and tire early. What if Claxton gets hurt? Sean Marks need to pickup Boogie Cousins asap so he can get reps in before the playoffs. Cousins can shot, pass, rebound, rim protect and give the Nets that enforcer needed in the playoffs/finals.
The Celtics could use Cousins also. Image M Smart and Cousins high energy defense. What if R Williams is not healthy or reinjury himself in the playoffs or finals. Al Horford is not consistent or dominant enough in the post. If R Williams had been healthy in the finals the outcome could have been different. The Celtics only have 2 SCORERS. Picking up Miles Bridges would add another scorer. He can shoot, rebound, dunk, and inside threat. Iam loving Jaylen Brown (The Black Panther) no nonsense energy this year.

Still dead last in offensive rebounding, 28th in total rebounding and 24th in differential. I think back to the playoffs and everytime they got a big stop, Boston was able to get the rebound and reset. Claxton is playing well but he's getting outrebounded more often than not and he is largely responsible for the -2.4 differential. If they could move him to 6th man and pick up Poeltl or Plumlee, both of whom outrebounded him in the past 2 games, I think it would elevate them even more
They still need 1-2 pieces to go all the way imo, preferable a wing defender/backup guard and a backup center. I don't trust Ben in the post season.

I think markieff morris and tj warren were underrated pickups in the off season. I would rather tj warren then westbrook off the bench cause he doesn’t make players better, but he allows others to create off the drbble cause he can shoot the 3. Obviously, a extra wing defender is always valuable.
