The only drawback is Pascal may not be happy with the approach and it may cost him an all nba selection. This may have impact on his eligibility for super max. He may ask out if we go full tanking

I think the FO needs to wait a little longer, but we are very close.
In 4 games, we will have played exactly 50% of the season. Currently, we are 16-21. If we go 0-4 to the Bucks, Knicks, Blazers, Hornets, I think you have to tank beginning that day. At 16-25, 9 games under .500, it just doesn’t make sense to risk lottery positioning. This team would not figure out how to play like a top 3 seed (50 win pace) the rest of the way, which is what would be required to just get to .500.
If we go 2-2 or something, I think you can maybe give them a little more time, but it does feel like it would be delaying the inevitable.
Conversely, going 4-0 and getting to 20-21 is the same record we had last year, and I think you can push for the playoffs.
