And in them having a solid defensive foundational system also helps a lot with them winning JV(Jacque Vaughn) incorporated a very simple yet very affective system that only two teams in the nba only run (aside from Brooklyn themselves) The Celtics and The Warriors the Switch style defense where they switch everything now JV made their system a little unique to them in which they only switch on ball screens that make contact if the screen doesn’t hit they stay in front of their man to avoid confusion and having all 5 guys box out the moment the ball launches up in the sky my only concern is size they’re gonna need some more size down low in the paint for a deep playoff run they’ve so far managed with it by having their defensive system help out on everyone clashing for rebound
