Love hearing this story what a great coach and man
What a great story! I was fortunate to meet Jerry Sloan at 18 years old at an event at the Delta Center. He could see me nervously approaching so he shaker my hand and said “Nice to meet you- My name is Jerry Sloan.” We proceeded to talk basketball for twenty minutes – he showed me his office – answered questions about coaching John and Karl. I was blown away by his kindness and generosity.
