Fans account for 50% of the vote to decide All-Star starters. NBA players and a media panel account for 25% each.

If we win more games, Trae should be able to make the all star game pretty handily. He’s ahead by 200,000 votes right now over derozen, so hopefully we can give him a push.
Doesn’t surprise me at all. I doubt he makes it, people here think he’s going to make it off his name alone when he isn’t that big name sure lock popular yet and he’s had a horrible year. Plus we aren’t winning. Still disappointing to see though

We just need to get a better record than Indy for him to make the team over Hali, and if he can keep up his recent efficiency(44/40/88 while still averaging 28 and 10 over his last 8 games) he can make it over harden too. Mitchell and Brown or Kyrie will be starters
Im fine with this tbh. Dame, Booker(Really, only 220K?), and klay all have significantly less votes than him and tbh deserve it more over him as of right now. I think Trae makes it as a reserve this year for sure tho.
Side note, the fact that Drose, Westbrook, Austin Reaves, Looney, and Poole all have enough votes to make it on this list means that the fans deserve to lose their rights to vote because this is just fucking stupid. This isn’t even trolling anymore, every year there’s more bums on this list when there’s even less room for the actual stars on the all star teams as the talent in the NBA gets better every year. Just let the players, coaches, and reporters vote. FYI: 3/4 of Paul Millsaps’ all star selections was based solely off of coach voting. He never made any voting lists.
He’ll be right on the bubble to make the all star game. If voting holds, Durant, Giannis, Embiid, Kyrie, Mitchell are starters.
Important to keep in mind the coaches pick the reserves. Tatum, Butler, Siakam, Harden, Brown seem like locks. So that’s leaves 2 spots left and I can see Trae being one of them.
