After some initial Zion talk, the topic quickly turned to Luka and how impressive he’s been this season.
There’s some talk about his usage rate and whether the brain trust can be trusted to effectively build a contender around him. Bomani seemed skeptical due to what he deemed to be “levels of malpractice” around team building around Dirk for a decade+. He’s gone on record as saying Dirk was the best player in the NBA for years but Cuban kept putting bums around him (shoutout to James Singleton and Antoine Wright)

Is he hating on luka again?
The fact that Cuban & Co. didn’t put an actual center next to Dirk for the first 12 years of his career is absolutely bonkers.
Once they put a good C next to him? a fucking title was won.

I love Dirk, but he wasn’t even the best power forward in our division.
Dirk at best was a top 3 player but never the best
No lies were told. Cuban failed Dirk then just like he’s failing Luka now.
Cuban is even dumber than I thought if he expects Luka to patiently wait around 13 years for a title like Dirk did or take numerous discounts just to end up with Wes Matthews and Harrison Barnes.
