Bulls: We can extend Wood for the 4/77 he is eligible for which is a lot more enticing than a long term contract for Vuc. Bullock adds 3&D depth to the bench
Mavs: Vuc is more likely to go for the 2/36 that they apparently tabled for Wood. DJJ adds athleticism to the bench and they get rid of the slumping Bullock
