I doubt that’s the only trade we make this season, but if it is it’s probably because a good enough trade wasn’t available. Trading for the sake of trading is how you end up like the Knicks/Wolves.

Masai doesn’t usually make trades in the scale of Kawhi+Danny and Gasol, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the trade is a little underwhelming.
Edit: Masai has never been a draft pick hoarder as well, unlike Ainge or Presti
