The main message from that game is that the Clippers window closed. A healthy Pels team still beats the Nuggets even without HCA.

There was so much hype for Kawhi + PG joining up in 2019. Now? That’s completely done. What a missed wasted opportunity imo

Hmm, wasn’t it recently a post about how the clips have essentially 3 teams and all rotations are nice.

    lol, what happened?

On the off chance we do win it all, we’ll be able to spend an entire summer going through all the receipts. If we don’t, just more pain and disappointment, nothing unusual.

  5. Honestly that’s how I feel about a lot of the hyperbolic talk that gets thrown around. Any team can beat any team on any night, the league is too good you can’t really take games off.

Sometimes though people talk about statement games or that X player is putting the league on notice and its like… dawg you beat the Wizards/Pistons/Bulls, lets take it easy on that.

Not gonna count the Clips out just yet. Two months ago everyone was convinced the Nets season was over after they lost to the Sixers without Embiid, Harden and Maxey. Now the Nets are looking like the best team in the East. We’re not even halfway through the season, a lot can change.

Ja not worried. He watching Boston vs Dallas highlights RN as I type this

  8. jumboponcho

Only statement wins atm are vs Brooklyn or Boston. They’re playing the best ball rn

I mean, I get the joke, but nothing the Nuggets did caused the Clippers to shoot 13% from 3. Those were almost all open looks

  10. But what about Celtics and Grizzlies then Rich ?

Anyway yeah we aren’t sending any messages thats so dramatic we just hoopin

How many times over the past 3 years have we heard “THE CLIPPERS ARE GOING TO BE UNSTOPPABLE WHEN HEALTHY!”

  12. Clippers are a great team on paper, but can never get healthy. They’re the LA Paperclippers.

  13. GiveMeSomeIhedigbo

He’s out of line, but he’s right.

Kawhi has just started playing somewhat consistently let’s wait till after the all star break to start jumping to conclusions.

Ah good old Richard Jefferson, famous Nuggs hater….

  16. MostlyMellow123

Clippers defense is pretty good but they’re the worst offense in the nba

  17. ShowdownValue

I swear Richard Jefferson hates the nuggets. I don’t know why, but every comment has this anti-nuggets undertone to it. Subtle jabs, passive aggressive, annoying tone when something good happens to denver in a game…

Something happened that one season he played here.

I don’t count Clippers anymore. They just have to earn that respect. It’s pretty much over for Clipps. They are not going anywhere with injury prone Kawhi and PG. Time to sell and look for better future.

I gotta say, I like the drama in the NBA most of the time, but I’m really over the “former player talks low-effort shit on current team,” style of commentary we get. Most of it just gives off as bad attempts to copy Chuck’s style or like they’re just being dicks for attention.
