The Toronto Raptors are having yet another disappointing season but new trade rumors are coming out every day. Will they trade guys like Fred Vanvleet, Gary Trent, OG Anunoby and even Pascal Siakam? This is a look at what might happen before the NBA trade deadline.

  1. People don't need to feel bad for us raptors fan. They had a great run and capped it all off with a championship. They even over performed in 19-20 and 21-22. I'm honestly excited to see the team to go in a new direction

  2. If the Raptors were to ever blow it up completely, it's gotta be this year. This draft is so deep. I understand some fans wanting to keep it together, but they've shown to not really have what it takes against the top teams in the NBA in the playoffs with this current core. From what I've seen NBA GM's are quite scared to make these big moves right now after how the Rudy & Donovan trades turned out. So if the raptors can get close to what you're proposing in this video, it feels like a no-brainer with the current climate in the NBA. Because it really feels like teams are going to start valuing their draft capital & future assets more than what they have been in these past few years. Raptors fan btw, great vid 🤝

  3. I have been a diehard Raptors fan for 13 years. This is the first season when I find myself cheering for the Clippers because the Raptors are too disappointing

  4. Raps are in good hands and if they decide to keep only OG/Barnes/Koloko/Precious as their core going forward and drafting a special 2way PG who has a high basketball ball and playing making to compliment excellent defense.

I think the Raps want to maximize what they can get for their players.

Raps wouldn't consider any of those trades less more picks and assets are attached.

  5. This is only their second year together and everyone is still young. This team IS their rebuild. I highly doubt they're going to trade Pascal, OG, or even Fred.

  6. you look at the squad. we need centre and shooting guard who can shoot 3s. who do we got? more 6 foot 9 power forwards. the reason we have no cap space is we used up all on identical players, power forwards who cant shoot. precious junior, otoo porter, juancho, thad young, boucher, barnes.6 players in power forward position and can't shoot for gods sake. and trhe centre is pathetic with a new draft pick whos new.

  7. The Nets tangent was definitely lacking context. They were 2nd in the East even with Kyrie sitting out and James not being James but it went downhill for them when KD got injured for a good amount of games which tanked their record.

  8. i was also getting mad at nurse, he was blaming boucher, instead of guys like fred, fred was a allstar, and hes not playing anywhere near that anymore and isnt getting any of the blame

  9. We’re not playing as a team that’s forsure. Scottie Barnes is the only willing passer. Trade Freddie forsure

  10. Trade Siakam, VanVleet, and Otto Porter to MN for D-Lo and KAT. No picks since t-wolves have none but they get an expiring contract on D-Lo and still get a star center with 3pt shooting. Raptors can tank for Wembanyama and wolves revamp to stay in playoff contention.

  11. But comments on coaching is accurate… which poses the question is it better to gut or simply change coaching?

  12. At least they won the luckiest ring in NBA history. Still count

  13. I'd hang on to OG and keep him with Scottie, he's still young, Precious is also worth keeping. Otherwise it might be a good idea to move some of the larger expiring contracts for more picks and youth.

  14. I think the fans has to accept that the year they won that chip it was the perfect circumstances with warriors being mostly injured in the finals. Lets be real if kd, klay was healthy they were never winning

  15. As a raptor fan it's a win win. I get while lottery pick having spicy barns and og and trading Fred for a pick. Get some cap space. If we turn it around I get playoffs. I'm good either way

  16. Without saying anything obvious, but getting Wembanyama would be huge for the Raptors. I always feel like the best way for them to keep a superstar long term, is with an international one. Also, Canada is a bilingual country, so the French speaking thing would be a big deal to certain places here.

  17. I've been liking your videos and the NBA talk lately, buy I think I would prefer is you were like 15% less excited so I don't feel like you're yelling NBA facts at me.

  18. I've got two trades:

Raptors get: Caris Levert, Isaac Okoro, Lamar Stevens and 2024 FRP

    Cavs get: OG Anunoby

The Cavs ditch the draft pick to build around their young core and they get a legitimate option at the wing. The Raptors get 2 young players and a guy who can pop off on any given night if you give him a role as a starter (that guy being Caris Levert). So basically the Raptors blow it up and the Cavs get a nice upgrade

    Second trade:

Raptors get: Michael Porter Jr, Christian Braun, Vlatko Cancar, Zeke Nnaji, Bruce Brown and 2029 FRP

    Nuggets get: Pascal Siakam

So obviously there's a huge haul for Pascal and the Nuggets are possibly the favourites to come out of the West so All-NBA type material like Siakam really solidifies their case as championship contenders. The Nuggets send all of their young guys and role players to Toronto for a superstar, not much to say here imo. And also a FRP because why not, after all that title contention the Nuggets will probably be bad by 2029 with an old Jokic so there's some value there too.

  19. If the Heat Wolves trade does happen it would be good. But ANT has been a good leader for the wolves and I hope the Wolves sign Pat Bev
