LeBron Should DEMAND A Trade!

The NBA’s looming trade deadline means teams and fans alike are scouring for potential deals ahead of Feb. 9. But don’t forget that the year’s biggest blockbusters often come together in the summer, and 2023 should be no different.

Because if he has any real desire to win another championship before packing it in, LeBron James will request a one-way ticket out of Los Angeles, and will be playing for a team other than the Lakers when next season tips off.

  1. The fact that we are talking about a Lebron trade in his year 20 is insane. There will never be another player like him.

  2. Lebron did himself a disservice by signing a extension before the Lakers made moves to make the roster better. He literally could’ve been a free agent in July and chose pretty much anywhere he wanted to. He’s gotta deal with what he signed up for.

  3. I don’t think lebron is going to New York. 😂😂😂 it just sounds wrong.

I don’t think nola or Memphis will do the deal.

Cleveland is the most likely market if he thinks about leaving.

  4. I've been saying he needs to go back to Miami. They have a lot of good pieces, but they're clearly an all-star away from competing in the east.

  5. Lebron should just stick it out with the lakers it's not gonna make him look good winning 5 rings if he had to build a separate superteam each of the times he won. I think joining a contender and winning would help his legacy less then if he made the finals eith the lakers and lost

  6. All leaving is gonna do is add to the narrative that lebron has constantly been changing teams and players every year of his career alot of guys could win a ring when its going goof but look at steph he stuck it out for 2 years and it lead to a ring

  7. As a diehard Cavs fan, I don't want CLE to pay LeBron James $97 million for two seasons. Not with our young team.

  8. I would hate to see Lebron goto the Pelicans or the Grizzlies, they’re building something on their own, leave them to it. However, Lebron going to the Knicks wouldn’t be all that bad. I don’t think they’d get better but they wouldn’t get much worse.

  9. Is it Just me or did the trade hauls for bron seem way out there? He is a 39 year old and they were talking about RJ barett, some talent and a couple 1. Round picks for him. I thought a 1. And 2. Round pick would cut it. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought trading for him shouldn’t command much capital

  10. right, and what about the fact lebron pretty much ruined the lakers by making them trade 7 years worth of picks, no he can pack and leave? nah

  11. Idk Y but I just really don’t want LeBron back on the Cavs, feel like he’ll ruin the young players and do more LeGM shit.

  12. The Lakers have to do right by him because he did give them a championship whether u think it shouldn’t get the credit it deserves a championship is a championship so either you get pieces around lebron like you did in 2020 or you trade him and ad and rebuild

  13. I find it strangle you guys didn't mention the Clippers. They're in the same city so LeBron doesn't have to worry about the off-court stuff changing. They have the expiring or near-expiring salary next season without including PG or Kawhi, and they're slowly getting tradable draft capital back. Unprotected swaps in 2027/2029, picks in 2028/2030. The Lakers aren't competent enough to parlay the short term money into more assets, and it would kill them mentally to trade LeBron to the "little brother team", but if LeBron insists on the Clippers, it doesn't matter.

  14. It'd blow my mind if Lebron ended up in San Antonio. The franchise would never pay that much though.

  15. Lebron made his bed now he has to lay in it! He literally has a big hand in the construction on the current laker roster! Stop with all the trade talk always looking for the easy way out. That's why the Micky mouse ring will never match up the the greek freaks ring winning with the team that drafted him with the second best being Middleton lebron would never be the goat! Always looking for an easy ring

  16. As a San Antonio native and lifelong Spurs fan..we would NEVER accept LBJ under any circumstance or at any point in his career

  17. Come on Lebron, give us Bulls fans a path to our glory days. We will forget you rejected us in 2010 (OK maybe not).

  18. I wish he stayed in Cleveland his whole carreer I really would have liked seeing what he could have accomplished with his team and his fans.

  19. Lol bron staying in LA until his contract expires. The lakers are the lakers, nothing like playing in LA. Nice try tho
