QUOTES/NOTES/TOPICS:
• Steph Curry on his first full team practice since he suffered his left shoulder injury. That included contact and 5-on-5 work, what he called a “no limits” practice. He says he doesn’t think he’s lost much conditioning. “Today was pretty much no limits. But the first real reps I’ve gotten, it was nice to break a sweat, feel the speed of the game again, the physicality of it…It felt good…I feel like I haven’t lost too much in terms of conditioning in terms of understanding what 5-on-5 is like… hopefully the transition will be pretty smooth once I get back out there.” (CJ Holmes, Kendra Andrews, Melissa Rohlin, Dalton Johnson)
• As far as a possible return next Friday, Curry said the plan is “to be ready when I’m ready.” He hopes to get a few more reps in and continue to move in that direction. (Kendra Andrews)
• On visiting the White House Jan 17: “I’m definitely looking forward to it. It’s one last opportunity to celebrate our championship last year before you kind of put everything in the rear view about what’s gonna happen with the rest of the year.” (Kendra Andrews)
• On the Warriors getting Andre Iguodala back: “It’s exciting, he’s put a lot of work in…He’s still doing Andre things at both ends of the floor and scrimmages that we’ve had. I’ve seen him play, so I’m excited for him to get out there because rehab is boring and it’s tough and it’s isolated…. I’m sure he’s just excited to go hoop and just enjoy what that means for him.” (Dalton Johnson, CJ Holmes)
• On Curry’s leftover purple KT tape on the video of his interview: The KT tape helps to provide some degree of external stability while also helping to alleviate surrounding muscle inflammation/pain allowing the muscles to more effectively stabilize the shoulder dynamically. It also doesn’t restrict motion which is problematic with “braces”. (Dr. Nirav Pandya)
• Andre Iguodala on having a minutes restriction: “That’s fine. Trying not to get too caught up in it because then I start overthinking and pressing based on how many minutes you’re playing. Just gotta do what you have to do with what you got…. I’ve been playing for so long I understand this: June is a lot more important than January.” (CJ Holmes)
• On last year’s journey compared to this year: “Last year was weird because obviously I came out the gates so hot and strong. And then I might’ve played too many games early on and I was doing too much. So, like I said, Rick had a really good approach to it even in late September, early October, and he kind of mapped it out, so he’s been on point so far.” (CJ Holmes)
• Joking about New Balance (not sure what he’s wearing, reporter did not state), while commenting about Rick Celebrini’s plan for this year: “My feet feel good, because I’ve been wearing these shoes. That’s why, my feet started feeling well…You know, I just stuck to the plan. Rick had a plan all along. Just buying into that, he’s done an excellent job with that. … So, just bought into the plan.” (Dalton Johnson)

Curry and Iguodala are two true team mates and inteligent persons, they answer question the right way. Wish GS the best so the “Good guys get rewarded holds true! About JP what sets him different from Steph and other stars is the way he turns it over continously and consecutively at a consistent crucial times in the game, hopes he listenes and learn, slow it a little bit as greatness takes time (years).
Leadership of warrior super star came big impact to young talent allow them make learn to mistake for become a big picture of his own version keep inspire superstar 😊
The Warriors will do just fine! I’m predicting Warriors Vs Nets in the Finals 👀🔥😂
You’re the goat Steph, and we love what you’re doing as a mentor as well
what happened to his left arm ?
What are those marks on his shoulders?
Lets go WARRIORS 🤩 💪
Everyone has a learning curve. JP is in the middle of his curve. The issue is he is on a championship level team that Everyone is watching.
I completely remember a young Steph making some terrible turnovers. Jordan will get past this.
Pozdravujem celú rodinu a prajem pekný život Milka 💗😻
Steph’s got a lot of class. JP, listen to Steph – don’t lose confidence. I have seen your skills and you got them. I have seen your mistakes, and they were bad. But that’s part of learning, of growing. If you learn from them you will move forward to greatness. Let the mistakes and criticisms fuel your learning. You are young so don’t rush. Aim for quality than quantity.
For all those people who cry abt jordan's finishing, just remember jordan have made big impactful shots in the last 2 mins of games, and is doing it time and time again, everyone makes mistakes, he is a 23 year old who ngl the fans consider is the next steph, so to fill in that shoes is not that ez. Cut the man some slack people
I thought he got fresh tattoos on his shoulder. They're just tape marks lol
30 face of the NBA
Why does Steph look like he’s been practicing? I thought he wasn’t practicing yet because of his injury. I know soon he’ll be back and I can’t wait. I guess his shoulder has just been worked on as well as it looks like he’s all scratched up.
Man if iguodala can stay healthy, he could be our Al horford. Fearless, grizzled warrior who’s a mentor for everyone including the other old men on the team
Damn that shoulder looks badass now! 😁💪
Were down to 12 place now were up to 6th place..yahoooo😄👍
We are the 6th seed right now and we have our (best) players back in a week. We can only go up! 🙂
There's a maturity to the way Steph carries himself. I admire that
Hopefully, the warriors can take the W tomorrow against the Orlando so that they can take a separation at least 2 games. The warriors are now in the 6th seed.
"I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have." –Thomas Jefferson
People underestimate what kind of difference 15-18 mins a night of Andre Iguodala can make.
Anyone know what those lines on curry’s left arm are?
Best guy ever to get Drunk with….
Yes Darling Steph, you are the REAL DEAL!! 💯💯💯Facts, Poole makes big shots help to win games. The moment he makes a few mistakes here comes the haters. 🙆♂️🙆♂️🙆♂️ Rome was not built in a Day neither a Month. Give the Youngman some grace, let him live he will be ok in the long run, mistakes are made to be make that's why all pencils have erasers. ( my Boss a VP told me that.) Some Teams trade Guys when they don't live up to their expectations. Killing the players dream, confidence and they never get the opportunity to get back up. Warriors Organization understands this. Respect!! ❤️
Andre is an important player for the Warriors. If he stays healthy the Warriors are legitimate contender to win this NBA championship.
Steph curry coming back 10 time better .. look out people
