    After listening to this entire clip I’m convinced Draymond would make an excellent coach. I’ve also really missed his podcast and I hope he’ll have GP2 as a guest next year. I think it’s safe to say he’ll always hold a special place with us fans. There’s def no way we would’ve won that chip without him and I’m still disappointed he’s not playing for us. That being said, it’s nice to see him being celebrated. The Warriors have the best organization (with the best fan base) in the entire league. I hope the new team players understand just how lucky they are.

    Draymond he's the heart n soul of this team ,they have to keep him n give him a big contract that he's well deserved and I say overdue. Listening to him talk he's great .I'm willing to bet that he can be a great coach when he's done playing.

    It’s understandable people say they miss GP2, I miss him, but to say it was a mistake due to their record or the owners are being cheap, which is absolutely ridiculous, is wrong. He hasn’t played a game this season yet for Portland. We’d be in a worse position if he had been re-signed. His contract is 3 yrs $26.145 mil, with the repeater luxury tax (Multiply his salary by 7) it’s $61.005 mil/yr and that most likely would’ve affected who we re-signed (Poole, Wiggins, Dray), so I understand letting him go. Donte isn’t as good defensively as GP2, but he’s really good on defense and is much better at everything else at almost half the salary, $4.5 mil, which with LT is a $29.505 mil savings this year. We wouldn’t have signed him if we had GP2 and our record would definitely be worse.

    As a basketball player you'd know stats doesn't show a players worth to the team all the time. There are so many intangibles that go into a player besides scoring the ball, leadership, communication, and character.

    I like Donte and I like GP2……Bottom Line Warriors made right decision on both players! Donte will be a key contributor down the stretch and the man can flat out play basketball, so I am happy with Donte on the Warriors!
