Former All-Star DeMarcus Cousins has already proven he knows how to function well as a frontcourt partner to Davis.
It seems we will be playing AD at the 4 upon his return. Do you think TB starts at the 5 or would you rather we target a big? If Turner isn’t available I’m not sure anyone better than TB that can start at the 5.

If not turner, we need to sign a backup for TB from the 10-day market
Turner is by far the best fit. AD playing PF means the center needs to be able to protect the rim like McGee/ Dwight did. Thomas Bryant is great offensively but lacks rim protection.
I mean AD has been saying it for 2 years. He is the not the overly vocal superstar type. He is a soft spoken dude. Maybe he finally got the message across
It’s actually mind boggling some people don’t want some sort of quality center to play the 5. AD at the 5 is nice and all but having a backup contingency is great. Doesn’t even have to be Turner.
if turner turned down the pacers offer, does LA have enough for his extension? or people cool with parting for a 1st for a half year rental? no pick at all it’s a no brainer.
AD is best at the 5 even if he hates it. He dominates the paint and not the mid range like KD. I don’t mind turner but I think it’d be a mistake to play them together too much. You’d have to take away either AD or turner away from the basket which makes them not as useful. It’d prolly be best to play turner off the bench and only in spots with AD, and I just don’t see turner being okay w that. We need wings far more than another big imo
The idea of playing him alongside a center was to keep him well rested throughout the season. We all know he plays better at center which is why he closes games at center and plays primary center in the playoffs.

Everyone still trying to help Indy get something for Turner.
AD defending 4s and Bron defending 3s seems foreign to my mind at this point.
