The Phoenix Suns have fallen from grace since their finals appearance in 2021. They were embarrassed by the Mavs in the playoffs last season, and this regular season just looks like a continuance of that. They are not the one-seed team they were last year, and with injuries to Booker and Paul, it’s time to look at trading some key pieces. A DeAndre Ayton move feels like a must at this point, but moving pieces like Cam Johnson, Cam Payne, and Landry Shamet for value isn’t a bad idea either. Moving Chris Paul at his age could be somewhat difficult, but he would still have suitors, and his value right now is likely as high as it will get because he’s continuing to regress. The only untouchable player on this roster is star Devin Booker, and outside of him and Mikal Bridges they should be very willing to move anyone. This team is not going anywhere this year, and they should blow it up while their guys have value, in order to stay relevant in the long term.
Think about subbing, I’m on the road to 4k!!!

They should trade Crowder, Ayton, and other assets to land a couple solid players that fit what they need. The 4-5 position is where the Suns really need retooling since Ayton still has good trade value, Crowder is just waiting to be traded and Cam Johnson may be too injury prone to be a consistant starter. If they can figure out the big man problem everything else will be fine once Booker is all healed and returns to action.
