I’ve always imagined a big city being up there in bumfuck Quebec or northern Ontario, maybe somewhere along Hudson’s or James Bay.
Like what if [Moosonee, Ontario](https://i.imgur.com/0OXpyE2.png) was a big city, with rail infrastructure down into Ontario and west towards Winnipeg. Wouldn’t that be kind of sick? It’d be a shortcut to the Northwest Passage, which idk is probably useful as a shipping lane to Europe?
