The Joker is a mediocre defensive player, I think we all can see that. He does not deserve another MVP until he at least gets his team to the finals. A couple of years ago, Embiid should have won that mvp if he hadn't got hurt. Everybody felt 2 years ago, The only reason why Joker got the MVP was because everybody else got hurt. The Joker is a great player, but until he wins a championship, he deserves no more MVPs nor should he be mentioned with any of the guys who won three in a row, at least they won championships. Hopefully, Denver fans will realize that and stop worrying about statistics and worry about getting to the finals.
Basketball a team game but American NBA media loves the iso one on one player . Jokic makes everyone better period basketball a team game. It's most valuable player and one player makes up 1/15th of a NBA team

Richard just went full strawman for the "Better MVP Case". He's taking one narrative but not including the biggest reasons. Like the fact that Jokic was carrying a horrible team, while also putting up historic advanced numbers. If Jokic just had a normal really good season last year, he wouldnt have won. Giannis this year isnt putting up historic advanced numbers to go with carrying a beat up team. Jokic this year is again putting up historic numbers while carrying an average team to the #1 seed.

On Bucks vs Knicks game, 1 commentator said that what seperates Giannis with these other suoerstars rn is his 2 way dominance….Jokic may have more offensive moves but Giannis offers elite offense and defense, its 2 against 1. And Giannis won the chip with 0-2 against the suns. I think from that standpoint alone he is better than Jokic

Lukas is leading the NBA in scoring 34_2 and he deserves MVP better than this two..l consider Lukas the best shooter and player of the NBA and he is only 23 years old
What always is left out of the conversation is Joker's defense, the advanced stats all prove that he is a great defender, problem is that nobody knows why he is, and it has to have something to do with his basketball iq, which is easier to see on offense, but we haven't figured it out on defense yet.
