Might mean something, but at the same time it would be a strange time for them to panic considering this loss was mainly down to starters not bringing the energy (though can kind of be forgiven since Steph and Wiggins are still shaking off rust), with the bench holding its own. Speculating here but maybe Kuminga and Wiseman are going to be out even longer than they hoped and they’re wondering what their options are if that’s the case.
Injured players aside, what are we even doing with Moody? After last year’s playoffs his value as a Sophomore should be fairly high – but he’s bench riding which (IMO) feeds into his lack of confidence which feeds back into staying on the bench; a viscious cycle.
They spend a decent amount of time discussing shot selection early on. The team as a whole is avoiding mid range shots more than usual. The last couple losses have been a lot of bricked 3s and blocked or missed shots at the rim and not much in between. There’s long stretches of scoreless minutes where the team is falling behind when what they need is a simple 2 points to keep the offensive flow moving. The mid range is open yet other than Klay, they’re avoiding those open shots like they’re the Harden era Rockets. And we all know how that ended for them.
Lol we’ll see. Joe Lacob was like “y’all see that tax bill? This some bullshit, I ain’t paying for this kind of shit” 😂
Oh I’m dying to know who the executive walking away with a grimace was
Trade James wiseman is what I always say and get downvoted for lol
IDK, I feel like the Wiseman thing might be a bit of a knee jerk reaction. He has so much potential and is expected to perform at an extremely high level at a very fast pace.
I wouldn’t be so quick to discuss letting him go if developing him is an option. Most great players take time to develop but they obviously would know more than we do. The guy can SERIOUSLY become a “go get me a bucket” kind of guy, but we all know how refs sort of haze the younger players with the whistle so if the refs let up just a tiny bit, I think Wiseman could do some extremely great stuff.
Sounds like there’s a good chance for a trade
at this rate, Draymond and Looney gonna be exhausted come playoff time (if ever we reach it) guarding Jokic, Zubac, JJJ, etc. LOL
They have to do something even if it’s just some fucking ten days. They are running Draymond and Looney into the ground (again) and choose not to do anything about it (again) because they are so reluctant to bring in any sort of big man. People saying it’s fine once wiseman and jamychal are back are ignoring reality. Those guys don’t help lessen the burden on Draymond and looney as long as we are trying to win. Kerr is showing who he can trust to contribute to winning by his selections.
