  1. Ivey's shooting form doesn't look good, but who cares if he makes shots at an above average clip.

  2. Bey does better whe he catches and shoots from outside with no hesitation. Defensive liabiliy vs quicker players. Work in progress.

  3. Isaiah Stewart is a career 33.7% three-point shooter. He's never been bad and he's only getting better. You might know xs and os better than me, but I know a competent shooter when I see one.

  4. Cade did not turn it up until the second half of the season last year. I think Ivey will do the same.

  5. Ivey has been disappointing to me. No defense. Erratic shooting. Turnover king. More athletic ish smith. Not impressed. He’s young and is a hard worker so i root for him. 💯 he MAY turn it around. When Cade comes back, id start killian. Killian is a better player than Ivey. But to his credit Ivey played the game THE RIGHT WAY against Minnesota.

  6. If we compare Jaden Ivey to the progression of our other guards or recently drafted players in general, he’s on pace to blow pass virtually all of them except Cade. Give Ivey time I think he’ll continue to get better, not to mention he’s been surprisingly durable for his style of play.

Isaiah Stewart is a extremely raw player that was forced to play out of position. Last year we all agreed our number one goal was to find a true Center to pair with Isaiah, in doing that Stews game has been able to open up from all areas on the court. He looks like a mix of Draymond, Horford and Artest.

Killian Hayes put an extreme amount of work in on his shot, handle and body during the offseason. The game has finally slowed down for him and he’s learned to pick his spots. My only concern is how will Hayes, Ivey and Cade work together when Cade comes back? Some say Cade can play the 3 which is fine for small ball lineups but that’s not the best use of Cades talent, he’s best at the PG/SG where he has the advantage attacking and defending smaller guards.

Seddiq Bey’s season has completely been thrown off and I don’t believe it’s his fault. Last year Bey looked great next to Cade and Grant, they worked perfect together because Grant was the leader on the defensive side of the ball and Bey could do what he does best on offense. This year bringing in Bojan hurt Bey’s development because Bojan is a pure shooter and horrible on defense. Pairing Bojan and Bey has made Bey look like the bad guy in the relationship because they’re both bad on defense and Bey’s a different type of scorer. Bey is more like a Jimmy Butler on offense while Bojan is the shooter and overall more seasoned player so his consistency is there. Bey needs to make a conscious effort on getting better defensively to round out his game, offensively he’s fine.

I don’t look into advanced stats heavy because stats need CONTEXT if a players role has completely changed or the teams style of play has changed that affects the stats. We can’t definitively say Pistons look any better then last year based off W/L, so who has contributed to winning? Certain players have gotten more opportunities while others have gotten them taken away do to style of play. I think Bey is nowhere near his ceiling and Bojan is at his peak!

Bojan or Bey and a guard for OG Anunoby plus some picks sounds like a deal that needs to happen!

Ku great show but your man’s assessments are kind of off bro, diving deep into stats while missing context within the game. 😅

  7. Aye at least we ain't the rockets we play hard, sometimes, and have some sets. The rockets are an aau team full of brats. They aren't and upcoming team but a young team, they need coaching Jesus while we just need a better coach. And obvious other rebuild stuff

  8. With Bey we hoped for at the basement level Robert Covington but in his mind he decided he liked the Ricky Davis archetype. He needs to go if this is his trajectory.

  9. The Saddiq Bey situation is simple. Bey started horrible last year and then got it together and had a really nice season. This season Casey decided to give up on him and bench him very early instead of letting him get it together like last year in favor of a soon to be 34 year old Bogdanovic. Textbook way to NOT develop young guys.

  10. In my opinion I feel IV has been playing out of control, tickets to deep in the paint then ends up turning the ball over

  11. If you have this roster with Cade ( but without Bojan ) you will have the same or less W than this season, mark my words

  12. A**** guess a question do you have to talk so long it's uncomfortable you don't get your guess to underrespond give a topic and let them respond

  13. The Pistons are truly in a tricky place when it comes to roster construction. We are clearly missing a big or 2 and the McGruder for Bol Bol trade that fell thru last year was truly damaging to our construction. Seemed like the most ideal fit possible in terms of progression timeline, contract, potential, etc. We really needed that to go thru in combination with the Bagley trade. More talented bigs(length) playing in the actual big spots(the 4 and the 5) would help shrink the court on defense and likely make us more functional on offense too. He fit our narrative perfectly. Not too talented to command a starting spot or super high salary but had just enough potential growth of being really good to take a chance on. And it seems like we selected Bagley in that exact same vein. We're now stuck in construction at nearly the same spot. I'd be ideal if we can flip some of our guard and forward scoring talent for 1 or even 2 more well rounded bigs(Noel play pending).

  14. Dropping by just to say hi to the Bojan hater KU….the same Bojan that gives this team any hope for their future ( picks and trade )…Peace
