I think they are prioritizing health and don’t necessarily have to sacrifice home court to do it.

There’s definitely a “not a minutes restriction” minutes cap for Brogdan and Rob, they’re taking care of Al etc. Smart has sat a number of times to manage soreness.

I think down the stretch they should make sure Tatum gets some rest now and then but he’s young and it’s more about managing the small or nagging things so they don’t become real injuries. If they don’t pop up then why worry

  2. We’re deep enough to have both. We can rest guys and win games.

Man.. I’m going to the Detroit game right before the break… Starting 5 will be Kornet, Hauser, pp and two dudes Brad met in the parking lot. I’m Fooked.

We should absolutely not settle for less than the 1 seed

Assuming you think Boston, Brooklyn, and Milwaukee are the three main contenders, Philly and Cleveland are capable of making noise, and there’s a distinct drop after that, getting first seed is more about making Brooklyn and Milwaukee play each other in the conference semis.

If they can win the next few games while the other teams below them continue to putter, they can probably have their cake and eat it. Maybe a couple games before the break they rest the Jay’s, let them play the last two big games, then let the team rest/heal up
