I miss seeing him courtside too. Several years ago I was at a game and the refs made a bunch of bad calls against the Lakers, the whole crowd was groaning and yelling, and Jack just starts going off. He was standing and screaming right at the official, and they showed him on the jumbotron and everyone started cheering. A short time later the PA announcer addressed the crowd and said that anyone loudly berating the officials would be removed from the arena. Well this just seemed to enrage Jack further and he starts going off again. They didn’t remove him though and eventually he calmed down.

There were rumors that he had dementia when he retired from acting. That was quite a while ago.
