Omg! Run it! Bog would litterly have to stand amd wait for wide open 3 s and John Collins do way more then west brook amd he young. Think heild and turner are off the table cause Indiana look pretty good.

I think I might, I feel like Collins just needs a change of scenery. Bogdan fits with this team pretty good too and Atlanta needs to get out from under the salaries to sign Murray to his extension and build the team the way this new FO wants. Obviously you’re taking a huge chance with Collins but that toxic situation in Atlanta has been bad for more than just him, from what I’ve seen every team wants draft compensation to take him on (same with Russ) and seeing as though the Lakers aren’t interested in giving up draft comp this might work.

How can people discuss this like this has any chance to happen in a million years? The Hawks wouldn’t accept this trade with a gun to their head.

  4. tRUTh_1S_fEar

Why wouldn’t they. Have you watched the hawks play. They hate eachother. Def not a “team” and it not like atl is building towards anything, they are not even close to a championship. Blow it up. Perfect for both teams.

  5. readditproman

we need kyle Korver more than this trade,LOL

  6. advent_children

No team in their right mind would accept a trade for Westbrick.

  7. Wasn’t Korver just named assistant GM? Maybe he will do Bron a favor 🤔

  8. isit65outsideor

    Nope.

Collins 23% from 3 and on a bad contract? Hard pass. Does he have potential sure but he’s not capable of being a star that the Lakers would need him to be.

Is this both picks unprotected? One pick? Just Westbrook? Is this a rumor or fan made?

  10. BombshellExpose

They’d get way better returns by putting both players on the market for separate deals. The Hawks aren’t looking to blow it up yet, so it makes little sense for them to trade two of their productive players for just cap relief.

  11. KoryGrayson

Russ with a negative LEBRON rating? Even virtual LeBron knew this trade was a bad idea!

BTW – No, I would not do the trade. The Collins contract is awful. He should be paid in the Montrezl salary range ($5 to 6M).

The Hawks can afford to put him on their bench. The Lakers seem to divvy playing time by contract amount. That’s why Beverley gets a lot of minutes and Nunn gets any at all.

Knowing the Lakers, they might do the trade. It saves over $5M. We know they love saving money!

If I was GM i’d literally trade Westbrick for a fax machine or doritos that were under the vending machine for the last 30 years

  13. gleophas

Now what in the blue blazes would compel the hawks to be dumb enough to do this.

  14. Nijee302

I would take that trade since Pacers are basically playoff team & we don’t really have any other option to improve this team.

  15. No_Palpitation_3649

I hope you’re kidding with that trade idea

  16. Paulywalnuts77

Lakers are getting fleeced, toss in two first round picks maybe pelinka considers it

  17. Danny_III

You would have to include both firsts for the Hawks to even listen to the offer

  18. Dependent_Ad_3014

I gotta say I’ve been happy with the way Russ has been playing this year compared to last year. AND he stays healthy unlike Anthony Day-to-Dayvis

  19. Timely-Spell-5120

Not the hawks… they’d have damn near 3 solid PGs
