    Brunson and Randle will be shut down in the playoffs, due to too many minutes and too much exposure, so other teams will consolidate more on how to tighter defend. You can already see remnants it now from how teams make it harder and harder for Knicks to close out games after they’ve already had huge leads.

    Thanks to Brunson this crew has rebounded. The offense definitely flows much better through an efficient point guard as compared to last years ineptness at the point.

    We definitely have a .500 team if not better, and if we make the playoffs, I suspect we'll get out of the first round this time but I might be a little over confident right now about that. First we'll need a full healthy squad, and anything less than that and it's first round good-bye again.

    In the beginning I have had some beefs about Brunson's contract and who should be starting at the SG position. Can't get what I want always and I have had my arguments with some of you, but I do like the fire in these guys eyes. I like how they pump themselves up after a big league play.

    These Knicks are capable of competing with virtually anyone, any team in this league. They just need to prove it to themselves now. They finally seem to be getting chemistry and that's huge when it comes to winning. All they need now is time to grow to another level. I'm personally proud of this young team, along with the key vets, what they have accomplished so far and I hope they can take it to another level now.

    But I'm approaching this cautiously at the same time to.

    The truth will reveal itself within the next couple of years. Within these next two years we will see what we have, and it will be the best we'll have at that point. The key right now is not to blow things up. The key is not to lose our most valuable pieces on this group.

    I'm very high on keeping
    Randall (I continue to laugh at those who still doubt his triple threat – only in NY)
    Robinson (nobody can push him around anymore – he IS the beast in the middle)
    RJ (showing flashes of greatness – maybe it will all come to the other side by next year?)
    Brunson (he's been perfect for flowing our offense)
    Quickly (he's earned it for sure)
    Obi (I still think this guy can be a major offensive threat if he ever gets the chance to start a bunch of games)
    Grimes (needs consistency – will be great if he does)
    Hartenstein (he's been a great back-up – plays his heart out and I can't ask for anything more)
    and
    Sims (great quick leaping ability for a big man – plus he just looks cool when he does)

    we gotta move obi,fournier,rose, cam, get a rugged defender at the 4 . A couple of 3 and d wings . Serviceable pass first pg for the bench . This will maintain lead and makes us tougher. When our starters are out.

    All of this crap about the Knicks playing too many minutes? Knock it off! We're 7-3 in our last ten and we won the last 3 games. These guys are not being burned out!

    "oh no, Randle is paralyzed from the waist down because he played two extra minutes, ohhhh always us!"

    CJ you complain about the rotation, but you realize that the bench has been blowing leads during the past 5 Game. The will make a bench move.

    Obi got 9 minutes but buddy went 0-5. 0-2 from 3. Do ya'll REALLY think Thibs would pull Obi in a game like this if he had it going? I highly highly doubt it. This is my thing…..if we all know the rotation is tight, wouldn't it be in Obi, Duece, and Hartenstiens best interest to make the best of the minutes they get? They gotta show Thibs they NEED to be on the floor. Quick has played his way into legit minutes. I cant say Obi is doing the same. Nor Duece or Hartenstien. Gotta trade for someone that can get you buckets off the bench (Cam ain't happening).

    I think Thibs cost the Knicks 4-5 games in the first half of the season alone, with poor late game offensive coaching. And also some very bad perimeter defensive coaching as well.

    The Knicks are a very good team, better than their record. They should have 30-31 wins and be breathing down the necks of the Celtics, but didn't happen because of the coach. And I think he will continue to cost them games at the same rate. And in the playoffs, he will get outcoached.
