If we manage to make the playoffs is something magically gonna change? Because rn the team is straight up dogshit.

I’d like to know what in his mind changes over the next few months… they are not gonna get a decent seed or make it at this point.

The team sucks. Yes they have a much higher ceiling compared to what they’re playing right now. But the team isn’t going to magically start playing like a contender

This sub is terrible every time we lose

He wants to get there “hopefully with a decent seed” but is not worried that the team has so far been unable to get that decent seed … That’s the lack of urgency I talked about. It worked when you had vets like OPJ, GPII, D. Lee, JTA but not when you are relying on kids like Poole, Kuminga, Wiseman. They will naturally follow what they see from their vets.

We need to make a trade. That empty roster spot is loud af rn

I mean I think that’s half the problem with this team, they think they will just turn on the switch if they hit the play-offs and honestly maybe they can. I mean, who would Doubt Steph Klay Dray at this point etc. But I’d just prefer to look solid going into the playoffs than what we are right now.

I mean you have to win games to make the playoffs. Also you have to win a lot of games to get a good seed

I don’t have any concern about the 21-22 season either I mean we won the championship

Holy fuck we are the 2021-22 lakers. Welp, time for the era of steph, klay and draymond to lose a series in which they all start every game. Didnt think I would see it but its happening. Guarantee you that lakers team felt the same way ans because of it lebron’s perfect record in first round is forever tarnished. I think curry klay ans dray are like 18-0 when they all start and play every game but its gonna suck to be 18-1. This team gets knocked out, draymond is def gone.

I mean ofc Klay is gonna say this.

Realistically this roster is not competing for a chip in its current state, I do think that could change with just a few roster changes.

We need depth and size, at least one decent big man would go a long way imo, playoff rotations are short anyway but we need someone(better than JMG) coming in with JP and the 2nd unit.

  13. Knowing Klay couldn’t lie or bullshit even if he was paid to (like I genuinely don’t think he’s capable of being anything other than direct/transparent lol), this makes me feel better. Anyone else on the team and I’d be a little skeptical at this point that it was more of an I’m willing myself to believe this is the case kind of statement but Klay’s as straight-shooter as they come.

Can I see/understand where or how he’s still at a “none. zero.” concern level? Nope lol but that doesn’t matter because:

    A. He knows ball, and more importantly championship caliber ball, better than I do even though I like to think I know ball pretty darn well.

    B. He (and the other 3 OGs) knows better than anyone in the league and any of us fans do what it takes to get to the top so it doesn’t matter if fans can’t see how they could possibly get there at this point, if they can see it then that’s all that matters. I mean, he was right about himself getting back to being Killa Klay because he knew how and what it took to get there and he knew he had that still despite 95% of the NBA community and its fans telling him he just wasn’t *that guy* anymore no matter how much he thought he was. I’ll bet on that track record.
