Embiid grabs Westbrook’s wrist as he drives with seconds left on the clock. This is the second game in a row with a missed call on a potential lakers game winning drive.

I know this has been posted here already, but it seems the refs have our number this year. We seem to rarely ever get critical calls. This begs the question wth is going on? Why aren’t the lakers getting respect from the officials.

Who are we kidding. He would’ve bricked this one too.

See me personally, I’d be arguing with the officials for like an hour after the final whistle

If you think drawing a foul in the last ten seconds is working you don’t watch the NBA

Wow I didn’t see this when I watched the game but it’s a blatant miss. Criminal

If refs don’t call fouls at end of games, then y don’t we take advantage and start hacking them oh wait I bet we don’t get away with it

So the new way to guarantee the Lakers don’t have a chance in close games ..grab the players wrist, high five a three point attempt and hold down the forearms on drives …is this correct? 😬

Whats odd is youd expect the refs to help Bron

Lakers need to file a formal complaint with the league and make it public. I get bad calls from time to time but if this is getting out of hand then it’s time to force the league to deal with it.
Downside, we’d need our coach Hamm to be supportive of this if not lead the charge which I doubt he will. He’s a “just get tougher and deal with it” type of guy

The annoying part is they would 100% call if it this was Harden or Embiid. They’re notorious for foul calls. Whether Bron or WB they would not have got the call. The blame still falls on Ham for not using a Timeout in this situation or Russ for not calling one when he fumbled the dribble before he decided to drive. Bron has every right to be frustrated

NBA confirmed this wasn’t a foul lol. I don’t even know what constitutes as a foul anymore

From the L2M Report: Embiid (PHI) slightly extends his arm before retracting it and marginal arm contact occurs with Westbrook (LAL) during the driving shot attempt.
Marginal contact??

Unwritten Rule: Never call anything on the last play and let the players decide the outcome.
It’s simple. Officials don’t want to feel responsible for the outcome of the game and therefore rarely call anything on the game-deciding play.

Lakers 0-2 against the refs, we can’t even criticize Russ, he got fouled. Russ is a clutch free throw shooter.

That’s so funny. When Lebron did that same exact thing to Kawhi all I heard from Laker fans was how he clamped Kawhi. Now it’s a foul 🤣🤷🏾♂️

It’s so goddamn blatant as well.

this season has been beyond frustrating. I feel like refs have been out to get LeBron and Lakers. I don’t even understand why there is such a bias on the team. It was such a blatant foul.
Also that foul on Troy Brown- wtf! that was the worst reffed game I have ever seen.
