    GAME NOTES:

WALKER KESSLER 20/20 GAME WTF MAN FEASTED BIG GAME FOR THE ROOK. 20 POINTS 21 REBOUNDS (9 OFFENSIVE WTF BOARD MAN GETS PAID) 2 BLOCKS 4 ASSISTS. He played an EXCELLENT game on both ends of the floor. 9-13 shooting, still needs to work on free throws going 2-4, but excellent defense, and even better rebounding on both ends.

ALSO BIG GAME OCHAI AGBAJI 17 POINTS 6-8 SHOOTING GREAT DEFENSE ON ANT LATE IN THE FOURTH. FORCED A TURNOVER ON ANT LATE.

We shot lights out the fourth quarter. Only missed 3 times all quarter which is insane.

Clarkson didn’t shoot too well, but had a big 4 point play late in the fourth. He did have a turnover with 51 seconds left up 2, but we live with that. That’s the JC experience. He also missed one of two free throws which would’ve put us up 2, but we got the WIN!

Beasley, while didn’t shoot well from 3, did more than just shoot 3’s. He passed the ball some, and drove inside. 3-4 from inside the arc. It was refreshing to see him not just shoot and miss 3’s

Rudy Gay had an awful 10 minutes as usual

Conley cool vet with 14 points 8 rebounds 6 assists. He was shooting well tonight, 5-8 from the field.

NAW had good 10 minutes, 5 points 2 assists and a rebound with some decent defense

THT played, and looked more out of control than usual. He shot 7 times in 8 minutes, only making 2 of them.

Credit to Agbaji and Sexton for their defense on ANT. He did have 29, but shot 25 times.

Speaking of Sexton, 19 points off the bench on 7-10 shooting was the spark we needed. He was attacking NAZ Reid all night, got to the free throw line, and had 4 assists as well.

Vando played a good game, made 7-8 from free throws and provided good rebounding and passing too. The more we can use him as a Draymond Green type on offense the better we will be. Put him as a free safety with good passing and rebounding, and I think he will flourish.

18 turnovers was too much, I’m surprised we still got the victory tbh. We only forced 6 tunovers while giving up way too many.

We found our shooting, going 53/38/82 which is a higher 3 point percantage than what we’ve seen recently. Credit to Agbaji 3-4, Clarkson 4-10, and Conley 3-6. Still need Beasley’s shot to fall then we are back to 40%

I was very impressed with our rookies. They picked up the slack majorly with no Olynyk and no Lauri. They deserve to share the game ball imo.

Conleyt deserves credit on his defense on ANT the final play. Forced a kick out to McDaniels rather than ANT take it.

23-24 BITCHES. NAIL BITER WIN WHERE WE WON BC OF OUR ROOKS

This game was so good for so many reasons, Agbaji playing great, Kessler with 20 and 20, winning the tiebreaker over Minnesota, getting a better pick from the wolves, doing well without Markkanen, etc.

    Love the future we have

kessler is an all star like right now

if he was playing 30mpg every game he would be an all star

  4. Fritterzz

Anyone who watched this game knows Kessler is the reason we won. Dude played his heart out. Super excited to watch him grow.

  5. Andrewski18

I know he missed but can we STOP leaving people **wide open** for game-winning shots??? Jesus

  6. KlythsbyTheJedi

Walker Kessler is a basketball player. Wow.

On a more negative note, it frustrates me to no end that we played a near-perfect fourth quarter and then ended the game on three-straight JC isos. Glad we pulled it out though, my heart couldn’t take another close loss like that.

  7. So Jazz have the most 1-pt games in NBA.

Their record in those games is 5-3.

So going back to my thoughts after last game, it hurts losing close ones, but it’s fine as long as you also win close ones. Great experience for the young guys.

Ngl a jazz vs timberwolves play in game would be fire

  9. MegaAltarianite

I missed this game because I didn’t know it was early. A couple things though. Is it just me or has Agbaji been extremely accurate shooting since he started getting minutes? Every game it seems it’s something like 6-8, 5-7, etc. Second, while it worked out, Hardy has got to stop rolling out a game ending play as “Jordan Clarkson Iso”.

  10. Eject_Eject_Eject

I’ll say it again. Collin/Ochai/Lauri/Walker is an amazing young core that will only get better

  11. Missed the game. Go Jazz! Looks like another nail biter. Why did Rudy play so little?

  12. StocktonsQAnonBurner

Very different game if Gobert is matched up against Kessler. I’m excited to see what that looks like next time.

  13. cyianite

A win without 2 the big man and Kessler doing it alone… could been a differnt ball game if Gobert is in the paint but Kessler making a statement to the team who drafted him. He’s the future of the Jazz and happy to see his best game career is against the Wolves

  14. SadMathematician7799

I just wanna stop by and say GG’s from a Wolves fan.

Your team is so young, talented and special.

Also what a game by Kessler.

Also can we both agree the the officiating is god god awful.

Again GG’s and we meet next time

  15. Wolverine2397

This win helps a little with my chargers losing

  16. shertoxx

    Walker Kessler tonight:
    20 PTS
    21 REB
    4 ast
    2 BLK
    69% FG (nice)
First 20/20 game by a rookie since 2014
    ROTY idc what u say

  17. noteghost

The present is really fun and our future is bright, boys.

  18. oswaldjenkins

is it okay for me to say that right now walker kessler is a better all-around player than gobert? am i allowed to say that? he’s amazing and he’s a rook. i know its a wild statement because gobert didnt really play but damn

  19. Wakandaforever456

I owe Walker Kessler an apology, I said his ceiling is Jakob Poeltl, clearly that his floor and his ceiling is Brooklyn Brook Lopez. He’s the definition of a beast.

  20. Lazy_Variety

Sexton, Lauri , Kessler and Ochai are the future . They all do different things and play well off each other and are the most impactful

  21. No way that Olynyk starts when he comes back right??

  22. SunsetCity45

It must be so shit to be a wolves fan, traded their entire future for one player only to get smacked up by the player they traded away 😂😂😂

  23. coolguysteve21

Other nba thread is saying we won with help from refs. True or false?
