The New Orleans Pelicans lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers followed a familiar script. So while we could have guess how things would go without Zion Williamson or Brandon Ingram should we be worried or optimistic about the Pels during this current stretch?

Are you optimistic or concerned after the loss to the Cavs?
Concern , they can’t win against the very good teams at their home court The players are still awesome!
I'm naturally an optimist, however this BI thing is concerning. I suspect the toe is healed, but he just doesn't "feel" right. That it is more mental than physical. I hope we are not creating another Kawhi Leonard here in NOLA.
I mean, that sort of depends on whether Brandon Ingram ever plans on playing a basketball game. I've never heard of anyone missing 25 games for a "toe contusion." You have to wonder how honest the front office is actually being about his injury. There was supposedly no structural damage in the toe. How on Earth has he been out so long?
I think our Front Office sitting BI because it’s a long season and we started off better than anybody expected plus the west is up for grabs besides Denver
Need Ingram back
I wouldn’t say this game gives any reasonable cause of concern. We’re losing to great teams while also performing on the team’s level. The difference between our teams and there’s. They have all there starters and stars, we don’t. Missing B.I and Z is what puts us at that, (top tier) category that teams like Celtics and Cavs are on. Even without B.I and Z the team has managed to stay afloat with hopefully soon enough to be all star CJ, JV, Najii and our backups. They’ve played great despite our 2 top players out and that makes a huge difference. I’ll say this, the. B.I situation is frustrating but what our other players have done in order to stay afloat is impressive. I wouldn’t say the cause of concern isn’t as much of a worry, even after this loss because we actually are still a really solid team even when missing our best players. The biggest cause of concern to me, is Cj, Z and B.I not playing enough games together developing the on court chemistry before the postseason. That’s a detrimental thing, even with our level of talent. Hopefully when they both come back, they’ll both be able to get through the rest of the season without injuries and have cj, bi and z at full strength going forward towards a strong playoff push. We have too much talent, we gotta work on ways to dampen this injury bug. But I believe when they all do come back, we’ll be a top3 seed.
Dyson is like herb. Exceptional ok D but offers us 0 on offense. Also I’m the biggest Trey fan but bro needs a better offensive game. If the 3 isn’t wide open and the lane isn’t open he’s literally just talking up space.
Sincerely a concerned pelicans fan
The only player we should try and go after is SGA
There trying to build a good culture so there going to stick with who they got win or lose . Everyone on the pels got crazy talent just need to be coached up
This team? As constructed right now with people missing? This team isn't beating anyone with a pulse. Just is what it is.
I’m definitely repeating myself lol but those Devonte minutes are crucial he’s an hindrance
I agree that the Pelicans is a uniquely talented, young team! They are winning the home and away games against inferior teams that they are supposed to win that they have lost in the past. That is why they are staying in the top 3 in the West. But, they are losing these close games against the top teams that I feel if they were at full strength that they could have won! Our guys need to get some games under their belts playing good basketball together at full strength to get in a rhythm by the time the playoffs get started!!!
The Pels aren't beating good teams on the road at all. This is the way it is.
How it's looking right now Zion will be back before Brandon
I've been following the NBA since the 60's and have never seen injuries like the Pelican's have. I don't understand B I , Z W and CJM missing so many games.
That Alvarado, Graham, Naji, Jaxon, and Nance lineup is a struggle.
