yes. Without question it would improve. Siakam is a ball handler and shot creator. he doesn’t need to have others create for him. he’s averaging 25.6 8.2 6.5 per game.
What we lose from Torrey is negligible and pascal is a huge upgrade from ayton night to night.
Would take so much pressure off booker and Siakam can also play Center so we can go small ball lineups for stretches. For example a lineup of Booker, Lee, Mikal, Cam, and Siakam will run centers off the floor. those 5 players are shooting 37%, 48%, 39%, 43% and 35% from 3 respectively. Plus so much space for Booker and siakam to attack the opposing team in space, get to the hoop, pull up for middies. it would be crazy fun basketball.
We do need to find a separate trade to get a bigger center to replace ayton if we do this. We have to be able to play big too for playoff matchups. I would say Crowder for Poeltl would work
