Lol will probably be a busy Mod night.

  2. Jordan1308

KD don’t pay attention to these games for a while. Everything’s fine over here. 👀

  3. calye2da

Losing to a team that’s tanking for the #1 pick in the draft…can’t make this shit up smh.

  4. Ohhhhhhhh boyyyyyyyyyyy.
This team really wants to be a 5-7 seed team.

  5. HelloItsMeXeno

Our shooters forgot how to shoot. Ben played well. Could’ve had a lot more assists.

  6. KingofthisShit

JV gotta figure out the rotations because this isn’t cutting it. He lost us the game putting in the starters in the third quarter and not adjusting.

  7. Rough game, Seth looked good in the 4th despite his poor game. Hustling hard for the team. Way to many turnovers and never properly adjusted to Johnson

  8. Kwilly462

That’s right Brooklyn. You show KD that you can’t win simple games like this without him. There we go, awesome job.

Especially you Harris, you keeping missing easy three’s while being paid 18 million a year. Thatta boy.

  9. People will still blame KD when he comes back next month while the Nets are the 8th seed fighting for a play in spot. Lol

    Dejavu

Upcoming schedule isn’t easy. Could be in for a very long few weeks. Deja vu anyone?

  11. FamiliarComb3166

Winnable game man. Players not making their shots and dumb turnovers killed us.

  12. ihatethesidebar

Pointless fouling at the end of games is one of my biggest peeves in today’s NBA. When the writing’s on the wall, you’ve gotta see it. Not enjoyable for the fans and never pans out in-game, at least not for the Nets.

  13. qwertyos

Probably the worst basketball game I’ve watched in a while. Both sides played like garbage.

  14. SwishBreak

We really can’t have shit as Nets fans. Same story, different season.

Unless Marks decides to do his job, we are cooked

  15. smirzaev701

Atleast Ben had a triple double hopefully this boosts his confidence

  16. SobiescianumScutum

It’s a fairly simple equation. No KD no Nets.

  17. Novel_Temporary_1269

Can’t wait for Joe to start again after have 0 points in 16 minutes of playing time. In JV we trust 🙏

  18. Leading_Glass_3110

Gotta say Keldon Johnson looked like the one on a max contract tonight

  19. FinancialsThrowaway2

See y’all at the play in game thread in 4 months.

  20. ireland1988

KD we need a hateful tweet to get these guys back on track.

  21. laflameitslit

i won’t panic yet but damn i want to

  22. NoRosesXVX

At one point we were 1/17 from 3. How tf does that even happen lmfao

  23. NoRosesXVX

Y’all thought Ben was overpaid? We pay Joe Harris almost 20 mil a year to do absolutely nothing productive on a basketball court.

  24. Either_Ad1073

If JV comes out with the same starters of Seth , joe, and Royce and no one to penetrate kick or even patty , Seth , kyrie on the court at the same time . It will be a very long eight games till kd comes back. JV fooled me man, I thought he was a good coach

  25. QoconutZ

Oh no another shit coaching job by JV lmao dude has been getting exposed without KD just pure shit lineups looking like a bum coach

  26. GreenpointKuma

JV trotting out that same starting unit after halftime was the end of the game. Totally cooled off Cam and TJ.

Joe, Royce, and Curry were embarrassing in the 1st half. They all could have reasonably been benched for the entire second half. Royce and Joe especially didn’t even look like NBA players and it’s wild that Royce closed out the game. He was absolutely zero effort tonite.

Sumner continues to be underplayed. As does Sharpe. Sharpe had 4 rebounds in only 5 minutes of play. His presence would have been huge in the 2nd half when the Spurs were grabbing every O rebound.

Maybe the worst game JV has coached this season. Looked eerily similar to a Steve Nash-coached game.

  27. SabresMakeMeDrink

We beat a better Pacers team with a worse lineup. What happened?

Glad to see Ben play well and be more aggressive at least, he’s just gotta watch those turnovers

  28. NoRosesXVX

Starting lineup blew this game. JV had no business starting them in the second half.

  29. Fresh-Vehicle-2842

Ben was actually attacking the rim tonight and somehow only got 2 FTs lol.

I’m happy his speed looks to be returning a bit. His vert looks a lot lower tho. He struggles to play above the rim rn (*sigh* at the missed dunk). If his athleticism even gets to 90% of what it was and he keeps this mindset the team will be in a great place.

  30. checkpush

Moves need to be made or this season will end like last season. It’s crazy how average this team looks without KD.

  31. BigCollarsAndBallers

History repeating itself. Really bad time for all these shooters to not be able to knock down open 3s

    O’Neale: 5-15
    Harris: 6-18
    Curry: 5-18
    Watanabe: 1-5
    Warren: 4-11

They aren’t shooting terribly but when you are down KD the margin for error becomes razor thin and becomes even thinner with Kyrie out. They are defending well enough that a couple more makes changes all 3 of these games.

Would also be nice to go into the rest of these games with a clean injury report. Play 1 game with Kyrie and Simmons. Then 1 game with Kyrie. Now 1 game with Simmons. Can this team just find a way to be healthy? Every game someone is out for something.

They need another big wing scorer that can create a shot for themselves can hold up on the perimeter defensively. They have 2 guys that can create for themselves or other guys. Simmons in theory would be the 3rd but he can’t really create in the halfcourt because of his limitations offensively. Curry and Warren can get their shot but are huge liabilities on defense. Another shot creator opens things up further and gives more options when closing the game out.
