“Cavaliers forward Kevin Love continues to be affected by a hairline fracture in his right thumb, as Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com details. At the time Love sustained the injury, on November 18, he had made 40.9% of his three-point attempts on the season. Since then, he has knocked down just 29.5%. “Still doesn’t feel right,” Love said on Monday after making just 1-of-7 shots from the field, including 0-of-4 threes.”

I really don’t think he’s just washed. He needs to get healthy (maybe take some time off?) and he can get back to being an asset on the court

  2. I love K. Love and always will appreciate him but he’s been an absolute liability on the court— if his thumb is impeding his play then he needs to take time off until it’s fully healed. He isn’t doing the team any good on the court right now, and he could use the mid season rest at this point in his career anyways. I’d honestly be excited for Diakite minutes in his stead, it would bring some energy at the least

Wish he would take some time off. His shooting is such a spark off the bench. I he gets healthy that Love, Ossman, Rubio lineup is going to be dropping Cavalanches almost nightly.

He needs to sit and heal. I’ve seen people ask “who else should we play?”, but at the rate he’s been going lately I don’t see how anyone won’t have the same impact on the floor. He’s not hitting any shots, doesn’t play stellar defense. Sure he grabs some boards, but couldn’t we find just about anybody out there who can grab a few boards while providing no offense and no defense? I would be surprised if his presence even provides that much spacing, because if opponents are doing their scouting report they can see he’s not right.

I’m a fan of K Love and hope he can get the rest and turn his season around. After the great season he had last year it’s pretty sad if this is the way he goes out as a Cavalier.
