The reason OKC has no rim protection and has terrible transition defense is due to the fact that all of their big men are out and injuried from Holmgren, Poku & JRE heck even Dieng unavailable they solely rely currently on Kenrich, Muscala and Bazley then Jaylin Williams to be their bigs or start at center that's why they are not getting much rebounds as well.
reason for the high turnover rate is because they are trying to perfect also keep getting reps in pushing the pace offensively as you said they play very fast cuz their all youngsters.
They are youngest team of all time in NBA history to be this competitive and have the 11th best defense also 15th ranked offense while being 17th as 3 point shooting team is very great with a team that has only 1 vet
I LOVE how we’re playing right now. Such and improvement from last season, I do want us to make some moves at the deadline for some shooters or more so defensive guys but I love where we’re headed.
I didn't know Oklahoma City had a basketball team when did they get a team? I didn't think that hillbilly ass state had enough people to support a team
Giddy is a floater shot away from me being a force to deal with take note of trey's floater game in ATL and how dangerous it makes him it would take the thunderless to the next level as a team with his passing game
When you have two guards that can both get to the basket and score, you don't need either of them to shoot a lot of 3s since they will get wide open looks for their teammates at the 3- point line. This is the exact opposite of Portland where you have 2 guards, Lillard and Simons, both very talented offensively, who spend an insane amount of time dribbling on the perimeter looking for their own 3-point shot. That's just a formula for a stagnant offense and one completely dependent on guys hitting tough 3s to win. And you aren't likely to win a championship that way. People can point to Steph and Klay but Warriors have used ball movement and good defense to win championships, not just 3-point shooting. OKC might have the best guard combo in the league very soon. A healthy Holmgren and another high draft pick, and they will be a playoff threat for years to come.🤔
10th now, IN the play-in; and climbing. So much for the media's Tanking theory – they fail to realize that OKC could still score big without tanking due to the number of pics it has. That is what will happen, OKC will still score in the draft AND on the court NOW. Dynasty in the making, this time in a mature 15-year market (yes, its been a team since 2008).
As a nuggets fan, the thunder are going to be a PROBLEM in the next few years. Mark my words. They don’t do that iso shit. They play good team basketball. They give me prime spurs vibes

We’re not trading for anyone. There’s literally no reason to.

I think they can make the playoffs this year but im not sure if I want them to….a top three draft pick would cement this team for long term greatness
Giddy is doing us Aussies proud
