I mean the reality is, there’s a ton of players who embellish contact to draw fouls in the league. Some people would just much rather watch the players throwing themselves at defenders / using off arm, elbowing and committing offensive fouls to draw FTs etc, over Joel falling down

One champion will change everything. People laugh at Giannis too before his championship. People said he had no skill, 4th quarter role player, etc. But they don’t say that anymore even though Giannis also only made out of the second round once in his career. He had to hurt Kyrie to get out of the second round for the first time in his career. But he made it. Get the champion this year and all the due praises will come.

Neither should be hated on tbh, Giannis gets legitimately fouled just like Embiid because no one can stop them. Two all time greats we just have to step back sometimes and appreciate these guys while they are in their primes
