3 games in the last week or so where things just don’t crack the lakers way
Microcosm of the last few years honestly….
At this rate they should win the title next year. No way in hell such terrible luck continues
Hmm, that’s three potential wins had the refs gotten their act together, meaning the Lakers could have been:
1. 23-22
2. One game above .500
3. On a four game winning streak
4. Sitting in the sixth seed
All without three rotation players.
If anyone needs me, I’ll be screaming into a pillow.
This is ridiculous and should not continue. Among other things, coaches should be able to challenge non-calls; otherwise, it’s like saying anything not called didn’t happen.
Also, Lakers are rightfully frustrated but it’s gotta not affect gameplay discipline. Nunn stopped to complain after the 3 pointer and Fox was able to advance the ball to Holmes – making any immediate foul a transition take foul.
Goddamn what a really unlucky week
On one hand: Yeah we probably should’ve won the game more comfortably with a better performance at least in the 2nd or start of the 3rd quarter
On the other hand: Goddamn another close loss attributed to not getting a call, just give a damn whistle
Side note: I’ll always respect Ja for his fanduel comment towards the refs that got him T’d up

End of season report: Lakers should have been in the playoffs
Screw these guys high key. Bastards have zero accountability and just put salt on the wound.
That was an obvious foul. You cannot bump the player’s body prior to the release of the ball. And the ref was standing right there.
The last two minute report is some b*******. If they’re not going to get it right in the game, what are they going to do to compensate the teams that they’re taking game deciding plays from? How are they correcting things in the future?

These refs wouldn’t be able to screw us in the final moments of these games with BS fouls if we didn’t do stupid shit throughout the rest of the game to put us in that situation. 2 points is not 2 points.
1 is a mistake, 2 is a trend, 3 is just unacceptable. No way Adam Silver sees this, sees how much it impacted an already open Western Conference and doesn’t make a call to the refs. If this was any other fandom they would’ve been pitchforking the refs. This is crazy considering most of the calls noted in L2M were blatant & others agreed. The NBA needs to internally review or start suspending refs for messing up. This is ridiculous

it sucks refs arent calling shit in real time but it sucks they would have to rely on refs to call things right to win games. Like not a fan of dodging opponents, great teams will beat whoever is in front of them to win.

Refs don’t want games to end on free throws it seems. There’s no way that foul isn’t called earlier in the game.
NBA is against the Lakers shoulda been a 4 game win streak right now then. Woulda had a 5 game win streak 1 game lay off then 4 game win streak all in close games.

It actually hilarious because if you go to any other team’s subreddit they talk nonstop about “the Laker whistle”. Lebron has one of the worst whistles in the league this year and we’ve had 5 incorrect calls in the last week that cost us games.
