What say you Nuggets fans? Would you want to add Naz Reid? Personally – I would absolutely take him in Denver, especially if all it costed was the proposal in the article (2 second rounders + Davon). He’d be a great fit backing up Jokic. He’s just really solid.

They’d want a better player for him, Reed is a g-league player. Rightfully so too, Naz can ball, but I doubt they push for him considering what they’d ask.
Iād much rather go for Caruso and run small ball lineups for the 8-10 minutes Jokic isnāt on the court for playoffs personally. Make sure mpj and Gordon are in too be good rebounders though when Jokic is out.
I donāt think thereās any real need for us to make any moves at the deadline, but I also actually really like Naz Reid. Not only can he immediately be an upgrade at backup center, but heās also switchable enough to share the court with Jokic and see some backup 4 minutes as well.
If Iām Calvin Booth, I first talk to Josh Kroenke, and make sure I get reassurance that heās willing to pay the tax on a ~7-8M APY extension for Naz. Then Iād offer Nnaji and a couple seconds. If the Wolves donāt think they will re-sign Reid, then perhaps theyād be interested in another young big with some upside who has an additional cheap year of control with the team. If they say no, I see if theyāll take Peyton Watson in place of Nnaji, and if they still say no, then so be it.
