Inside the arc is dominated by demar and KD not surprising

Surprised Luka doesn’t have more space occupied on the left wing tbh

Demar, Demar, Demar, Demar
Edit: needed one more so I could say “It’s like 5 Demars out there!”

Break this down for me in terms of quadrants of wow.

Bro can we please get Myles Turner? Bro is literally the best straight away three point shooter in the league on top of being a top shot blocker?????

One thing that separates DeMar DeRozan from some of the others on this chart is that he’s truly elite at scoring in the midrange. Demar has not only made the most baskets this season for the areas where he is shown but he also is elite by many different metrics too.
For the midrange, and since coming to the Bulls, DeMar has never shot below 50% and this year is averaging around 53%. This (along with some other metrics which show midrange efficiency) compare favorably to people like Kevin Durant who has a 2P career average of .539 and Michael Jordan with a 2P career average of .510…. both considered two of the best scorers of all time.
Others on this chart require a bit more inspection.
As example…
For their careers, Trae Young and Luka Doncic actually shoot around and/or below average at 3P% (NBA average being around 35%). I don’t doubt they have made the most field goals from their particular areas and have high usage, but they aren’t especially great at it.
