Unless they don’t think bones has a high ceiling and prefer to give braun his minutes this is a terrible move

To people asking why trade Bones it’s pretty simple. Nuggets have no real back-up C. Naz Ried would help with that. What about back up PG you ask? Well there’s no real need for that in Denver because one of Jokic and Murray is always on the floor and they are both PGs.
He’s shooting 34% and average 9 pts, how is that shooting the skin off the ball or starting caliber?

Kinda makes sense. Bones is young and probably has nice value, but doesn’t necessarily fit Jokic’s timeline or if Denver is trying to win a championship soon. Trying to get a vet makes more sense

Trading Naz Reid with KAT out would be strange and Nathan Knight really isn’t a 5 more like a Grant Williams type player. Bones is atleast an upgrade over Nowell, but neither are playing great this season.

Bones Hyland the new Quickley where they see the occasional great highlight and it deludes them into thinking hes amazing
I like Bones, he’s like a poor man’s Maxey (and I don’t mean that in an insulting way)
Naz is a great sixth man type center for upping the offense and can survive defensively against backup units but he gets cooked on defense against starters
My favorite Bones possessions are when he dribbles the clock down at the end of a quarter and then takes the worst shot imaginable. I call it Graveyard Time.
