I read somewhere that one of the “assets” we could claim is for the Celtics to un-protect the pick we got from them.

I hope Brian doesn’t budge. Keep the price and wait for them to meet it. If they don’t, we can always S&T him in offseason. There is no reason for us to rush.

San Antonio gets: Mike Muscala, OKC’s lottery-protected 2023 first-round pick, and LAC’s unprotected 2024 first-round pick
The raptors frp and whatever else makes the math work. We just need draft picks. Raptors look like they could be a bubble team so that pick isn’t garbage. If we can score a top 2 pick ourselves and add a top 20 from Toronto our rebuild is just about done and we still have a boatload of assets and salary cap.

I can see the Celtics doing something like removing the pick swap and just out right giving the spurs the picks as well as throwing some sweeteners in the deal. I would do that deal take away the pick swap and you just get the picks as well as couple

Two unprotected firsts or bust… Jak seems to be gelling with the rest of the young guys. Plus, we have no bigs in the same universe of talent/potential as him… he’s pretty much a part of our future unless a team is dumb enough to overpay for him.

Unprotected raptors first this year or nothing. Chances it coneys top 5 unlikely but would let us take a risk on another good player and best case conveys top 10
