Jokic over Giannis as a basketball player is simply wrong imo. Better season? Sure. But I don’t see how one makes the case that he’s better than Giannis without having seen him put his team on his back come playoff time. No one granted Giannis best player in the league status after his two MVPs because he hadn’t gotten it done yet in April/May. Don’t see what’s different now.
Also, even the most ardent Jokic fans can only feasibly make the case that he’s average defensively, while the defensive metrics that play a large role in his overall advanced stats being so good paint the picture of him being an elite defender, which anyone with eyes can see just isn’t the case.
I actually like Jokic’s game, but the media is setting him up for so much slander should the Nuggets not at least reach the conference finals, and probably the finals too at this rate.

These ranking are pathetic. Outside of Joker and Giannis I don’t understand the rest of the top 20. I like KD and think he is a top 5 scorer of all time. But he’s been out so how does he get ranked higher then Luka who’s been ballin the whole year? How is Booker ranked 10th and we ain’t seen him in more then a month and he wasn’t 10 when was playing. But for godsakes the hate Dame received is unreal! You barely got him in the top 20. He started slow after being out a year. And now he is back to his old self and is destroying opponents.
