Which is why I think we’re gonna get him next if we’re lucky for seconds. Masai is gonna ask us for a unprotected first tho.

  2. This would be fantastic to do for 2 SRPs and leaves us ammo to stack on Russ for another splashy deal

Again, letting Russ expire is operational disaster

  3. lets_talk_basketball

Top 10 protected 27 and salary match.. It would prob have to be Bev and Lonnie.

GTJ to the Lakers has been mentioned so much it’s prolly not gonna happen

The Raptors likely open by asking the Lakers for an unprotected FRP. The Lakers gave up three SRPs for Hachimura, and Trent is better. The main difference is they overpaid to get the deal done well before the deadline. Basically, eBay Buy it now vs. bidding.

Klutch Sports may be able to scare away suitors though. “He’ll only re-sign with the Lakers” etc. etc.

Russ, 1 unprotected first, and a few seconds for FVV and GTJ maybe? Unless the Raptors value FVV more than im thinking

Lakers gave up theres for Rui and I’m loving the pic up

thats a low price but the article also says raptors might be in talks with the suns which would require GTJ as a salary filler, it will all come down at the last min of the deadline

Lakers tax means two FRPs lol.

Is Trent worth Bev, LWIV and 1 FRP?

  10. Why others teams aren’t jumping on this one ? He is solid

Rob thanks, I know youre gonna fuck this one up.

would love GTJ, and hopefully we can make walker in another deal. we have too many guards on this team and I think we should trade/consolidate them for a better piece. also open to trading reaves and christie, but I think Walker should be the first SG to go, then Christie and Reaves.

  13. GutsTheSwordsman

Do the raps have a big guy that they would want to trade?

Just need a starting SG and a decent/capable big man.

  14. Honestly I’d pay a 1st for Trent and ship off bev+JTA or whatever else off the end of the bench to make the salary match. I’d want to keep Max though hes still raw but showing good instincts and I love the way he rebounds the ball.

What constitutes a “good” second round pick? Picks that will convey sooner or is there a way to guarantee early second round picks?

  15. If Toronto is willing to take protected firsts, get Brick on that fucking plane today.

  16. Splittinghairs7

Lmao I’d do it got for a top 3 protected first or even unprotected first.

Dream trade: Two FRPs for GTJ and FVV. It would instantly make us contenders if not slightly favorites.

FVV, GTJ, Rui, Bron, AD would be a scary good lineup on both ends

Add Reaves, TB, Schroder, Troy Brown and everyone else. Wow that’s a damn good team.

Isn’t he a klutch client too? 👀 Make the deal Rob!

  18. ObiWannaDoYou74

Everyone and their grandmother wants a protected first for a guy that is worth seconds lets be real here.

The fucking Jazz screwed up the market big time

  19. I had a dream gtj came to lakers couple night ago, it’s so real

  20. Nothingtoseeheremmk

Bruh what are we waiting for

    Bev-GTJ-Lebron-Rui-AD would be filthy

  21. Rob has got to trade away an 8th grader for a current player

  22. Sam101294

Gary Trent is a NOT a good defender. Easily exploitable in a playoff series. He was one of Raptors’ worst performers last year aginst 76ers. Combined with the fact that he’s an upcoming FA, a protected first should be his max value.
