You have CALEB MARTIN and HIGHSMITH guarding Giannis and JIMMY BUTLER being frozen out by the bums this team employs in the 4th. A positive: When our Big 3 are all on this team can compete with the best of them.
Negatives: Same problems as always: Too small, no shooting.
I don’t care how small the sample size is, this team plays so much more energetically when Lowry isn’t playing. I’m not saying I think Gabe is good enough, but we either need to (hopefully) move Lowry before the deadline or have him running the bench unit for the rest of the season and hope he can embrace the Westbrook role. Dedmon needs to be gone too.
Also, Spo *has* to quit with the stupid no Jimmy/Bam lineups for the beginning of the 4th in close games. Herro was pretty good this game (besides needing 24 shots to score 24 points), but he just not there yet to be able to keep up while carrying bums like the other 2 can. Game after game we find ourselves at a 10+ point deficit before our 2 best players see the floor.
14 players make up this team roster, 10 of them are undrafted. That’s got to change.

I just don’t get why late in 4th they have Herro bring the ball up and play point guard. That person needs to be Jimmy. Herro doing that is pretty much a guaranteed turnover. He’s better suited in catch and shoot or as an option with 10 seconds left in the court. The ball needs to be in Bam and Jimmy’s hands to make decisions.

I’m more upset about the road trip having gone 1-3 when it could (and probably should) have easily gone 3-1. Milwaukee played great with preferential officiating and Giannis hit free throws. Unfortunate but Knicks lost and I don’t see Atlanta beating Denver so the sixth seed remains ours. Desperately need a PF though holy shit
