This is where you shut the doubters up. Lead this team on a stretch of wins. Put them in a position to not have to rush Stephen Curry back. I believe. We good🤞🏿

Its a win-win. Either he snaps out of his trash play or makes it easier to move him in the summer.

  2. NaiveNeck984

Jordan Poole became what he is after being one of the worst players I’ve ever seen. I can’t doubt a Jordan Poole bounce back ever after that.

  3. We just need to start with a 5 game poole party before the break. LFG!

  4. Cheap-Bed1892

If anyone’s gonna be doing any leading, it’s probably gonna be klay and draymond. I wouldn’t hold my breath with this guy

  5. Front-Alfalfa7000

People need to relax on the Poole slander. Dude has been a godsend for us whenever Steph has been out. Even back to last season.

  6. sumchinesewill

Hope Poole plays well and I also hope Kuminga gets more minutes

  7. BobbyRalston

(bounces ball off leg and out of bounds…..slow clap from crowd.)

  8. Stomper8479

It’s been a weird year for him. He will get hot again.

  9. D-Bagz123

People already forgot he lead the team to a 5 game win streak earlier this year. And they’ll forget when he does again. He can’t win with this fanbase.

  10. The-Truer-Facts

He’s done it twice, haters would rather look at a 3 point game.

  11. figpotato

Homie is shooting 31% from 3 on 420+ attempts this year.

Refuses to play well and pouts when coming off the bench

0.25 Assist:Turnover Ratio last game with 4 TO and 1 AST

Can’t guard, clueless on team defense, and jacks up deep 3s with 18s on the shot clock, refusing to defer to wide open Steph and Klay.

0 Humility when he should be grateful to play with the greatest shooters of all time.

I want JP to do well and get empty stats to boost that trade value in offseason

Poole and Kuminga taking next steps.

Poole becomes ass each time before he takes a leap. He has a few more leaps before he’s final form.

    – Leap 1. Take a breath, calm down. When he simplifies his game, uses pace and elite first step and quickness he will turn the ball over less and score more and more efficiently.

    – Leap 2. Vision and maturity. When the game is simpler and more slowed down his ability to see the floor and make good decisions will increase.

    – Leap 3. Body and defense. Similar to Steph as Jordan fills out a bit more he’ll become sturdier on the defensive end and with his quick hands and anticipation he should be more than adequate defensively.

I don’t know anyone or most are doubting Poole. He is a fantastic players to watch when he gets going. However, next to this beauty, there are the head-scratchy ugliness of unnecessary turnovers, meaningless fouls, and ball hawking.

And for some reasons those tend to happen the most when the game is on the line, the stakes are high. He doesn’t need Steph to be out to improve this aspect of his game …

    EDIT: missing words

  14. FamLit69420

If he can only play well when steph is out, then what place does he have on this team?

  15. Gsgunboy

Repeat of 2021-2022 run. And then have the luxury of Steph playing back off the bench.

  16. Tempblbu

JP is a good player but I firmly believe he is not a consistent top player on a championship team. He can put up good numbers but can’t lead a team.

  17. Damn some y’all act like he hasn’t earned an ounce of the criticism he’s getting. Like he is a personal family member of yours and people are coming for him lol I’m not writing him off but we’re in February. He’s been who he has been this year. The turnovers, bad shots, poor shooting and bad defense are just facts. Doesn’t mean we should write him off. But his play has left a lot to be desired this year.

  18. As much shit as he’s gotten for his play (very much deserved at times), Poole has done a damn good job both times he’s filled in for Steph when he was out for extended time

  19. herejusttolooksee

Just needs to stop going for Nuclear plays. KISS, keep it simple stupid. Take what the defense gives you, not the one-on-three Eurostep spin floater.

  20. Drakilgon

Poole was pretty bad the first half of last season as well, before taking off and becoming the player who earned his contract when Steph was injured.

Hopefully he can do it again.

  21. Showcase Poole and Wise, shut down Steph, and maybe Draymond too. Then gauge interest in JP and Wise if they successfully ball out.

They’re offensively capable but not what this team needs for the Steph/Dray/Klay era.

  22. swaggarfifteen

Doesn’t the team somehow have a winning record without Steph? Poole has been meh but he does OK in these situations – if the team can go .500 or slightly below while Steph is gone we’re not in a bad position.

  23. This!! The team chills out when Curry is around, now is their time to rise to the occasion!

  24. eugoogilizer

Just put them baddies courtside and the Poole party will commence!

  25. Loverofsports2022

I trust him with either Donte or Ty on the floor. He shouldn’t be the main ball handler, but he can shoot the ball all he wants.

  26. t_ran_asuarus_rex

like last season and everyone on the bench had to step up to make up for steph and klay not being available and draymond working through his injuries.

  27. GoddessCurls27

I need that JP that had Curry coming off the bench last time this happened.

  28. lasVegasharold

Unfortunately, time for him to prove himself again. He’s been anything but reliable this season.

  29. Houssem-Aouar

Keep coping my friend, he’s not helping us
